I was going to do a "mod" of my Nintendo Game Cube and, in order to open it up, I needed a Gamebit compatible screwdriver to remove 4 screws at the bottom of the case. The set comes in multiple colors. I chose blue. I ordered this set and it arrived the next day. The set consists of a 3.8mm and 4.5mm driver and can be used with many retro game consoles, per the detailed item description in the listing. I only needed the 4.5mm for this particular job. After a few days of procrastination, I started to do the modification. The 4.5mm driver worked perfectly. Once the screws were out, I could lift up the top cover and I was ready to work on the project which was completed successfully. Two thumbs up. Perfect cheap set for Nintendo consoles. Sadly not magnetic at least that I could tell, but the feeling of the set was good for the price and worked perfectly for taking apart my Virtual Boy system as my ifixit kit couldn't reach some of the screws. If I had to complain about anything, the lack of magnets and the handle feels a little hollow, not like its gonna break on you but not very hefty.

Got to me in under 24hrs, that was wild. Great quality for the price. Worked perfect for my Virtual Boy Console, fit in the deep pockets perfectly.

This is really a basic review for a very basic item that everyone who has retro video game console stuff should have. For years, I was using a poorly designed bit driver set made (you know where) and sold at a big box store that starts with a W and rhymes with HallBart. I bought that because it was cheap and found local, And in the end, I struggled with every screw over the years because it wasn’t designed or made quite right. These are real Nintendo security bit screwdrivers! Smooth as butter! Sometimes you don’t realize that you don’t need to struggle until you find out that you don’t need to struggle! Then again, how often am I on screwing security bits on Nintendo products? Not often. But I’m certainly glad I got these. Keep in mind, the magnetic tip barely works, that could be better, but otherwise quality and value for money are top-notch! If you have anything from the Nintendo entertainment system up to the gamecube, you’ll want to have some of these. Especially if you’re taking apart, super Nintendo or super Famicom cartridges in order to replace batteries or clean them or even just to admire the game PCB inside! Seriously, get one of these sets!

There is a magnetic in the end of the screwdriver however it's not designed correctly and can't be used. The screwdriver doesn't fully sit all the way down against the screw head. But these do work at getting screws out, just needs a little more down pressure so they don't slip.

I must admit it’s a little exciting to have to purchase a new bit every so often. I have so many screwdrivers at this point, I should start a display case haha. Anyways, this is a good screwdriver. It does what it needs to do without damaging the head. The clear plastic one also looks pretty nice, it feels fitting for the time period of electronics you’re going to be tinkering on with these.

So outside of having an IFixIt kit, these are great for gamecube repairs. The larger one fits the gamecube gamebit screws. They are also magnetic so you won't lose your screws easily. Great value for the money, considering how cheap these at.

bought this to open up some games for cleaning, have used multiple times now and the driver does a good job (fits the screws perfect). seems to be a fairly sturdy tool for the price so I recommend this one for general use.

Worked great for opening my N64 carts. Very sturdy and well made.
