Great loud sound.
The sound really pops, great for finger style. Beautiful glossy finish. Stays in tune. Tied with my koa Taylor as being my favorite guitar.

Very Nice Guitar
I'm 63 and played over 40 years. Sorry Amazon I didn't buy it here , too expensive not to have communication with a seller. If I could afford a 5k and up acoustic I'd consider it , but IMO it's not necessary when it comes to acoustics.. There's a range of tones from all the different brands when it comes to acoustics due to wood and build. It's a subjective subject. Being a maple bodied guitar it's focus is mid to high range but still has a nice low end balance. I knew this when I purchased. I have 2 low end oriented acoustics already. Amazing how the harder you hit the strings the louder it gets. Doesn't seem to have a ceiling. It's very smooth sounding with a real sparkle to the high e. The neck feels like home. It's set up right out of the case and was easy to play from the get go. 2.3mm at the 12th. Lots of bling but certainly not over the top imo. I happen to like bling. Only downside is the laminate back and sides and the plastic bridge pins. I for one am guilty of being a wood snob but all the demo's I watched, and now playing and hearing at home have kinda changed my mind a little. The laminates are at least a high grade of pure maple and from what I read it's maple-mahogany-maple laminate. PRS acoustics are built with a different theory with a looser soundboard (hybrid bracing) referred to as the speaker with stiffer sides and back considered the cabinet. I'm assuming this one reason for the loudness. So there's some trade off going on here at this price point. Your just not going to find a new top brand PRS-Taylor-Martin under 12-1300 that doesn't use a laminate. But remember resale ! It's so much easier with minimal loss selling a top brand like PRS-martin-taylor. It would have been nice if PRS used a AA spruce top, but I don't think there would have been an audible difference in tone , but that did cost them a star. I personally could have lived without the electronics but they don't sell these without them. It's a decent middle of the road pickup though. A trade off to hit the price point. I prefer a mic but it nice to have for the sake of diversity. It's a beautiful guitar that sound good and I'm happy with the purchase. I like the fact that they are limited and PRS doesn't flood the market. PRS nailed the price point with a good looking acoustic that is nicer than the Taylor -Martins in this price area. But then again it's all subjective ....
