R/C Helicopter Training Gear Universal fits most RC Helicopters. You can easily fit this training gear to Apache HD4, RC E-Sky Brand and so many more....not made for small indoor helicopters at all! This needs to be modified for your application and is very durable!

RC Heli Training gear set
I got the training gear set for my e-flite blade cp-pro2 heli...it works very well..taking a beating being that I tried to fly my heli with the gear on outside in the snow ...gear is designed for warm weather..would be a great thing to have to learn how to fly..may want to buy a load of cheap ping pong balls if you are gonna fly your heli in the cold..that way you have replacements for your training gear when you break one because it got too cold.

Necessary
Great for a first time novice RC Helicopter enthusiast like myself.Helped a lot preventing crashes during takeoffs and landings.Depending on your RC Helicopter model & landing gear, you may have to use tie-straps instead of the clips provided to secure this training gear properly as with one of mine the clips kept popping off randomly.I haven't figured out how to use with RC models that have wheels instead of skids.

Not as good as the others
I've had several training kits. This one in particular is not the best one. The tubes are a little bir thin and weak. Try to get a training gear set that has thicker tubes. In that way your helicopter stands a couple of inches above the ground and ptrotects your landing skid.

Must have for learning rc helicopter
I am glad I bought this. I should have bought it with the helicopter. I bought it after few crashes.. but if you buy it with the Helicopter , it will save you some money..Good investment for beginners.

Not bad but not great.
This thing consists of 4 brackets that don't seem to fit my helicopter, 4 fiber glass rods, 4 ping pong balls and a plastic hub in a baggy with a bar code label on it. There is one sentence on the label that says in plain engrish, that you'll have to adapt the product to your needs. If you've ever worked with an RC model before, you'll be able to figure out what to do. I attached it to the skids on my helicopter with Gorilla tape and abused the product for 2 hours before it broke. Even then, I was able to salvage it with another piece of Gorilla tape until the batteries died and I had to recharge it. I broke the thing and it took a lot of effort. So I'm giving it 4 stars. I'm sure I'd have destroyed my brand new helicopter if not for this thing.I'd recommend using some tiny rubber bands to attach it to the skids. I'd also recommend using either tape or hot glue behind the ping pong balls to keep them from sliding when you crash. Since I broke the little hub piece, I'm just going to get another ping pong ball or a little rubber ball to replace it. It's still cheaper than the replacement parts I'd have to buy if I didn't have this. The only thing I can say is make sure it's the right size for your needs.Good luck.

absolutely Needed for helicopter learning
These were the best investment for the 7 choppers I bought for the grand children. Save the blades from getting totally destroyed out of the box. I recommend them highly.BOBMc

No instructions. Did not fit
This training kit dis not come with any instructions. We had to look up instructions on several other websites before figuring out how to assemble it. The holes in the balls are too small for the metal rods to go through. We had to figure out all this before we figured out that it did not fit the model if rc helicopter we had purchased at the same time here on Amazon. Disappointed.

Training Gear Set
This kit didn't come with any install instructions, but after a while I figure out the right way to do it.1. the center plastic piece of the kit (which is the center of gravity) should be positioned under the main shaft. The brackets come with kit allows no adjustment, so I tie wrap it to the landing gear instead.2. The fiber rod was too long for my 120SR, the balls hanging out too far cause the heli unstable, I cut it down by 1/3 and it works much better.3. The plastic center piece break too easily, after epoxy the broken pieces a couple time, I give up and made a wooden center instead. The fiber rod is just right for my 120SR, it's tough and flexible enough for this light weight heli. All in all, the training gear should be built/tuned for your particular heli, this kit do provide you the basic materials for a light weight heli. Happy flying!
