All the buttons feel amazing and if you’re playing sm64 and backwards long jump(and scared of breaking button) THEY GAVE A CUSTOM RAPID FIRE FEATURE for any button you choose to bind it with. You won’t be disappointed, also controls way better

When wanting to play nostalgic games, you need either one of two things: You'll need a classic controller, so you remember the control scheme exactly as it was 20 years ago, or you'll need a modern controller that won't make your hands cramp trying to reach all of the controls.I bought both, this being the modern equivalent. Now, as a controller, it's just as responsive as an OEM controller of the era. Plus, with the thumbstick not having that abysmal ringed design, I can palm spin the stick for games like Mario Party without having to resort to using gloves or cutting my palm to shreds.However, there's a SLIGHT catch. This controller, despite Retro Fighters best attempt, is not compatible with all accessories. The most important of which, and one that nearly every N64 enthusiast tends to carry: The Transfer Pak.That's right, you cannot use the Transfer Pak with the Brawler64, so if you had hoped to replace your old OEM controllers for this modern variant so you and your friends could play Pokémon Stadium against one another, you'll be sorely disappointed.However, other accessories like the Rumble Pak and Memory Pak work just fine. Just make sure you're using an authentic controller pak, and not one with a memory bank switcher, because for some reason it tends to corrupt data between bank switches.

Better than the OEM controller.

Comfortable, feels great to hold, the quality is also really nice, I actually prefer this over the OEM controller by a long shot. this is a big recommend

If you haven't played n64 in a long time it's very hard to get used to the old controllers. This controller works great good way to get back into the retro games

This is probably a solid casual player controller, but moderate use has broken the left Z trigger, the A button has become sticky, and the joystick has begun leaning right. It's has only been 5 weeks since my 2nd purchase. The 1st controller lasted almost 8 months before the rubber cover on the joystick broke off. The plastic underneath is sharp and painful on my thumb.I have been playing super Mario 64 roms, and recently began doing kaizo roms, which is why the 2nd controller broke so quickly.I love the design and the hand feel, it was easy to get used to, and until they break, feel nice and smooth.
