I bought this for a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. We saw her a few weeks after Christmas and asked if she had tried it, and she said that she couldn't get it to work. Not knowing if this was an older person not knowing how to use a tool, or if there was a real problem, we looked at it. It wouldn't hold a charge at all. After being on the charger for days, testing it on a bottle of wine, the corkscrew would spin for a few seconds before completely dying. I wanted to request a replacement, but there were none in stock at the time. I checked again about a week later, and ordered a replacement to exchange for the broken one. The second one that we received, we tested ourselves before giving it back. This one seems to hold a charge and is simple to use. Mother-in-law is happy with it and has used it a few times. It is kind of big compared to a cork screw and must remain plugged in to be charged when you need it. It works great for her, but we will stick to using a small cork screw that can be stored away in a drawer for the few times that we need to open a bottle of wine.

Very nice, easy to use, and works well … but 2 stoppers are all you gonna get! According to one of the Q&A, Vacu Vin stoppers would work fine. This is NOT true! I have several Vacu Vin stoppers and they DON’T work! I trusted the aforementioned Q&A … only to find that it is NOT so… the device is nice, pulls nice vacuum, uncorks well … but don’t buy … unless it is Ok with you to have only 2 stopers!

We gave this one as a wedding gift, but we bought this exact product for ourselves months ago. We love it! Easy to use, holds up well over time, doesn't take too much counter space! Every wine drinker should own this product!

I researched lots of automatic wine openers before settling on this one, and I'm so glad I picked this one! The stand-out features are the fact that you can actually see the cork coming out (many others are not clear), which makes it much easier to know when it's done. Also, the opposite side being a wine preserver is a huge bonus as well. This looks very chic, is incredibly easy to use, charges quickly, and is all-around an excellent product. You'll never go back to an old corkscrew after using this!

It generally works very well, a big benefit for painful hands, and blends with other items on the counter top.It also suffers from a common flaw of electric wine openers, slippage of the cork within its guide (especially true for slick synthetic corks) which can create a problem for both opening the wine and extraction of the cork from the opener.

I generally find this to be an amazing product. I did have one incident of the corkscrew not entering the cork and with me putting pressure on the unit it managed to push to cork into the bottle. Another minor problem is the light comes on when the unit is put in its stand does not stay on.

I purchased this wine bottle opener/preserver for my BF. What a money saver! Easy, efficient and preserves the wine up to a week between uses. (It may preserve longer but wine is consumed before a week) Low profile design doesn't take up too much space on your counter top. Opens and preserves several bottles between charges.Easy, functional, practical and effective.I would absolutely recommend this product.I hope you find this review helpful.

I like that the wine opener has a re-seal that keeps the wine fresh for a bit longer. The wine opener is rechargeable vs needing to replace batteries which I had to do with my old wine opener.It's sleek and looks great on my wine bar. I'm very happy with the purchase and feel it is reasonably priced.
