Swiss Gear MYTHOS Computer Backpack Blue

Can't go wrong with Swiss Gear products. I absolutely love all the pockets, storage, room, comfort and durability of this bag. It fits a good sized laptop in the computer pocket, the back computer pocket is padded. I've even had to carry 3 laptops at once in this and besides being really heavy the bag carried it comfortably and not too bulky. The greatest thing about this bag is that it seems like no matter how much you fill it up it doesn't seem bulky like other bags. I've had 2 laptops, a notebook, 2 power cords, a mouse, laser pointer, cable converters, numerous little things, a light jacket sunglasses case and water bottle all in the bag at once and it fit nicely under the plane seat in front me. The pocket access is wonderful!

Not their best. I had a "YALE" that was perfect. Can't find it on here.It's a large bag but there's some compromise in design with its structure relative to its size; it doesn't feel that sturdy. It almost feels like a knock off. Wenger needs better zippers in general, but like I said, since it is a larger bag, the problem is the design, it is a bit gangly, doesn't feel balanced. the main opening is maybe too large that the zipper has extra room for error, less focus in movement. so the zipper track came undone in a small problem area 3/4 of the way, and I am not heavy handed. it's not built to be that big. Great looking! But a bit dumb.

I have been looking for a replacement for my 20 year old leather brief case that has been around the globe about three times and is dying an natural death. I am a retired Army guy so I always gravitate to a backpack. The Swiss Gear pack is very superior to anything I have investigated to date. It's got everything I need--and I love the external water/gatorade slots, small pockets on top, so handy for glasses, phone, and other small items that require frequent quick access. The laptop computer slot is nicely padded for care. The materials/zippers and construction is excellent and the price is very affordable in my opinion. What are you waiting for---get you one (or two)!!!

I was always an EastSport fan for bookbags, as my previous one lasted 3 years! But after switching to Swiss Gear I was not dissappoinited. I needed a bookbag to fit my Sony Vaio 15 inch laptop, and it does, perfectly! I has a spot to put my drinks, phone, papers, and sunglasses! Delivery was spot on first estimated date! So happy as I needed it before Monday and I got it Friday! I will have to actually get use to it as it's a different feel, but I'm up for it.The material feels sturdy! Tough! & Durable! I feel I can tie it to the end of my car and drag it along the as​phalt based on how it feels. I just can feel that this bookbag will last me 5 years! But I maybe wrong.School starts back Monday, August 19th, so I'll update my review after a few runs with this bookbag!

Kudos to the seller for the prompt delivery, nice packaging and the fact that my Mythos was brand new and without defects! 👏🏼 I read many reviews and viewed many pics before deciding on this backpack. This Swiss is to replace my old one that started tearing on the side after 6 years of abuse. I needed a backpack that was comfortable and spacious but that it would look a certain way. This Swiss has all the usual compartments conveniently placed and with plenty of space. It has two small discrete compartments at top, by the handle and the other one by the top right side. The back support and straps are amazingly comfortable! I load my backpack with over 20lbs sometimes and feel no discomfort. The bottom is not made of hard polyurethane, which cracks and breaks quicker than nylon. To me, this Swiss would've been flawless, if it wasn't for the headphones hole on the upper right side. Although small, rain and snow can filter through into the main compartment. Will always put my books and iPad in the back. There's no perfect backpack, but to me, the Mythos has the perfect balance between space, comfort and aesthetics. Yes, it is important for a backpack to look nice! 😎

I have been searching for a new laptop bag for some time now. After much research and a new macbook purchase, I found this one. All I can say is WOW! I love bags that has pockets and that zips for extra added protection. It really gives my new macbook pro great padded support. I love the fact that there is room in it for my ipad, along with their power supplies. Lots of pockets for pens, notepads, and my wireless mouse.The straps are well padded and are adjustable. They offer great support and this bag will be easy to carry. The color is perfect. It looks well built and will last a long time. Accessibility at security at the airport for the laptop is easy.I am glad I found this bag!

I bought this for my son for secondary school. I thought it was genuine Swiss made. It's not cheap hence I expected it to be very durable for robust activities. After four months the handle has ripped. That's not normal wear and tear. Amazon does not allow return as one would normally do if bought from a high street shop. This is one purchase I am very disappointed with.

bought it 4 years ago for a new job, which involves lots of traveling. this thing has been packed and unpacked an unreasonable amount of times and still looks the same as when I bought it. not a single fray, scuff or lasting mark on it.space in the back pocket for 2 laptops, very large central pocket for chargers and books (ive even managed to mash a ski jacket in here one particularly warm winter day). from pocket has space for pens/USB drives and other misc cables. side mesh pockets don't stretch far enough to fit a drinks bottle in if the backpack is full but that's no major issue. iPOD pocket is a nice touch with a waterproof earphone cable exit hole.draw straps on the shoulder harnesses have plastic finger pulls, which are ideal for hanging shirts off when waiting to check in at hotels.

This is the second bag I bought for my son to use as a school bag. The first lasted 3 months before the fabric of the main pocket at the back pulled away from the binding at the top, probably because insufficient seam allowance for the tough but coarse-weave fabric was enclosed within it. I managed to get through to someone at Amazon with great difficulty, and persuaded them that this was not good enough for a bag costing nearly £50; they gave me a refund and I re-ordered the bag. This second bag was used for 3 weeks at the end of the school year in July, then again from the beginning of Sept (about 3 months in total again) and, once again, about 6" of the fabric has pulled away from the binding, this time of the smallest pocket at the front. I really can't be arsed to go through the byzantine procedure needed to contact Amazon Customer Services again, so will bin the bag and not consider buying any more Wenger products in future.

I looked at various bags and choose this one for uni. It is great for carrying lots of books and a laptop. The weight is spread evenly across my back and it does not feel heavy when i carry it.Very nice colour and the handle is strong.Been using it for a week now, the straps could fit better on my shoulders. I noticed a few loose threads by the straps and the laptop section, not sure if it normal if it continues i shall exchange it.I would recommend the bag as its spacious but it does tend to lean forward would be good if there the bag had some type of rubber/plastic feet to stop the leaning and protect the bottom from getting dirty.

I bought the larger one of these for myself to eliminate checked in luggage on short business trips, I took it to India for two weeks (with no other luggage) admittedly with hotel laundering along the way but even so with chargers, laptop, ipad and clothes etc its no mean feat. Three of us at work have them and they are jokingly referred to as "the bags that cannot be filled". I was happy with it and then subsequently ordered this slightly smaller one for my son as a school bag (they have to carry a ridiculous weight of school books considering its the 21st century), he loves it as well.
