Arrived quickly' died even faster. I got this for a Dell Latitude e6430 that i had refurbished for a friend of mine. Was happy with its speed of shipping as it was early even for prime shipping. Plugged in the laptop and proceeded to continue to set up the OS and various softwares. Within 5 minutes i was getting a warning about an incompatible charger and lack of charging. So I took off the charger and tested it the charging port with a different charger. I had no issues with the other charger despite it also being an aftermarket charger. So i decided to test this charger on a different laptop that takes thevsame charger. I tested this charger on an E6420, an inspiron 1545, a e7440 and an e6540. This charger failed on all laptops i tested it on. Despite having a 1 year warranty I have found that its less of a headache to chock it up as a loss than to try and have the charger replaced. There are better aftermarket chargers on Amazon and other omlone reaers that work as they should for the same amount or less. I have not bothered to even reach out to the seller as it would cost more to return the charger than I initially spent on it, again not worth the hassle. I actually wemt to the local walmart and purchased a 90w universal charger for about $10 more than i spent on this one that fit my needs and works as it should. I understand that sometimes bad products make it to consumers hands and that the unforseen does happen, i also do a little online retailing, but I test my products before I ship to ensure functionality.

We had an old Dell sitting around that had been dormant for years simply because the power supply died. It wasn' worth spending much on, but this inexpensive power supply and a clean Linux install made the old Dell worth using as a "guest" computer for when people visit and just need a way to check their email - without me having to give them access to my personally computer.if it had been more expensive it wouldn't have been worth resurecting the old Dell, but this power supply made it worthwhile.

It charged my laptop battery just fine for 1 month, then stopped working. An older adapter worked fine, so the laptop was not at fault. I suspect a problem with the 3rd wire that connects the adapter ID chip. I only put the adapter through ordinary use, nothing rugged, so perhaps the 3rd wire was feeble or had a fault in it. Selling company was very good about providing a refund.

Works fine on my old beater Dell Vostro 1500. The one I received does have a little blue light to indicate power is getting to the adapter (another review says it didn't). Great charger for the price ($10 when I bought it).

Charger did not last long at all...functioned normally at first, got hot, not unbearably, but stopped functioning after that...

works well, sturdy construction.

I had this for a couple of months and it quit working and I cannot return it.

Product works as expected. Seems to be good quality.
