We bought two of these, one for each car. The CD mount is the one we use the most because our air vents are not ideally located.Initially, I had problems getting the phone holder part to stay connected to the mount. Customer service was friendly and prompt, but their response was canned and unfortunately did not help. It was my husband who figured out that in order to get the two parts to stay together, you have to connect them BEFORE you attach the mount to the car. You have to push quite hard to hear the very distinct click. Once you hear that, the unit is extremely solid.The CD mount holds the unit very securely in place and we are not concerned at all about it staying put.We each have the Galaxy Note 4, which is huge, and it fits in the holder with a case and a bit of room to spare. I have a simple bumper and my husband has an actual case that is a bit thicker than mine.One thing I love is that when you push the button on the back to release the phone, it slowly expands. When you release the he button, it stops expanding. This makes it really easy to remove the phone one-handed.We chose this model so that when we change cars, we wouldn't have to replace the phone holder. We'll be able to attach it regardless of the type of dashboard the new car has. We've tried several different ones, and this is by far the best. Both my husband and I are extremely happy with our purchase.

The included instructions were easy to follow - just 2 steps for CD install. I put it together and installed it in my CD player in about 5 minutes. I set the phone in the holder and closed the clamps around the phone for a secure fit with one hand. So far, after a 45 minute drive around town doing errands, it stays in place and does not wiggle around. One of the best things is the one touch button to release the phone - it slowly expands and since there is a bottom edge it sits in the holder until I take it (it does not fall out) with one hand. I have not tried the other install options yet, but I will update my review when I try them. I like the 4 in 1 capabilities because it allows me to use it in other cars. I plan to use it on the passenger side vent when traveling as a navigator/passenger..

I am currently using only the air-vent attachment. It works perfectly. A block of plastic attached to a string keeps a metal hook attached to your vent and then two bottom legs can be adjusted to angle the phone up or down. The entire attachment is connected with the phone holder on a ball joint and a phone of any size can fit into the two arms that closes on it from the sides.It's secure and sturdy. I love it because sometimes when I run my phone's GPS, it gets crazy hot, especially during sunny drives. This keeps the phone right in front of the air vent so it stays cool.I have it positioned as low as possible so that the air can still hit me from over the holder.Great product. Will try the CD slot attachment and the other mounts later.

This phone holder has the coolest grip mechanism of any grip style phone holder I have ever seen. The "jaws" on either side can be gently squeezed together once your phone is in place and the "jaws" are released by a button locates on the bottom at the rear and once pressed the "jaws" open as if they were hydraulic, the opening function is silent and as smooth as silk, there is no sound whatsoever. The mount comes with four different mounting brackets that can be snapped onto the phone holder. This mount works great and has a soft foam padding on the face of the holder and on both "jaws" to allow your phone to be gently held in place without scratching your phone.

I chose this cell phone mount over cheaper, similar products because of the versatility of this product. When I bought a new car in January, there wasn't a good spot to put my phone to use for GPS. I thought I'd use the CD mount, since who uses CDs anymore? However, when it came, I found that the CD mount put my phone in a weird place that blocked part of my radio screen and clock. I ended up using the vent clip and it's in the perfect location. I love that I can move it around as needed. The holder fits my Galaxy Note 4 with a protective case.

I really like this product. It's obviously very versatile. I'm using the CD drive mount and loving it. If you plan to actually USE your CD player, then I'd advise to use one of the other mounts. It's common sense that if you shove a foreign object into your CD drive it's going to possibly cause damage. For those who are using more modern technology to stream music and audio books, and have no more use for a CD drive, this is perfect. I do need to adjust the holder every couple weeks to make sure there's a tight secure fit. Easy, no problems.

Worked very well, a little wobbly (to be expected) but still secure. I used the portion that mounts into the CD drive since I very rarely, if ever, use CDs anymore.The customer service seems excellent as well, if a little over the top. The company emailed me to let me know it would arrive the next day before it arrived along with some tips for setting it up and to reply immediately if I had any issues. I had no issues but the customer service seemed it would have been excellent had there been any issues.

This product met and exceeded my expectations!! I bought it because we were going on a long car trip and were renting a car. We used the cd holder and it worked great!! My husband thinks this is the coolest thing ever. The options to set it up several different ways makes him so happy. I am still in shock at the quality for the price. It tightens on the phone, and releases it's grip with the push of a button. The parts that attach to the car also tighten down and adjust and tighten there too. I can't say enough.
