DC Comics Super Heroes and Villains: 75 Icons from the DC Universe!, Fandex Deluxe Edition (Fandex Family Field Guides) Cards – May 5, 2010

I grew up with DC comics ! Love the DC comics movies ! Have most of them ! My pack , the gorilla grodd character card is torn vertically so I have half the picture, half of the text , but all the other characters cards are great ! Still happy with everything else !

We bought this for our 4-year-old who loves superheroes. Each swing out page is packed with information and topped with an instantly recognizeable picture of the hero/villain. He loves it, and it's a lot more fun for him to look through than a standard style book.My only quibble with the fandex is that the pages themselves are a little less substantial than I would have liked, and the irregular edges along the tops of each page can catch on each other when you try to slide everything back together. It's not hard for an adult or a careful older child to get everything back together nicely, but be prepared for bent and torn pages if you give this to a young child.

So our little superhero is crazy about DC Comics. The only problem is that I have no clue who anyone is except for Batman or Superman. This reference collection is fantastic. It gives a very detailed background about the characters. It is like one big family tree of superheroes. I found it very interesting. I started reading about the characters that were in my son's comics and just kept going through them all. I really like the way that it is in a "fan." It is easy to look up any villain or hero. It also looks cool. We use it for decoration on my son's superhero bookshelf.

Fun little (big) guide. Has A LOT of facts packed onto each card. A little cumbersome and I can see the cards separating from the bottom hinge down the line if it's used a lot. But definitely a fun fact guide that includes a ton of DC characters. I got it for a great price and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this for my six year old son for Christmas and he loved it! The pictures and colors are great, and there is a surprising amount of detailed information on each card. My husband and son had great bonding time reading through the character details on each card.Truth be told, I think my husband likes them as much as our son does!

Great item for kids/adults interested in super heroes/villians. Gives a nice summary of each ones life story and major feats. My son loves it. Makes reading fun and we use it a lot as a reference.

I bought the Star Wars and read that in my free time at school until I finished it. I loved it so much. So when I found out their was one for DC super heroes and villains, I knew I had to get one. So I bought one as soon as I could and loved it so much.

The kids love this. It gives great detail on each hero/villain and they read it over and over. Great artwork too.

Think my son is going to love this (bought as Christmas present)
