Holds tight, cooler never moved!!!
Works great! My cooler never budged on the first use in the woods on some pretty significant trails.I was skeptical about this product because it was much cheaper than the RTIC and Yeti ones but decided to try it. I wanted to use this on the rear rack of my Polaris Sportsman XP 850 but didn’t want to drill holes in the rack. I didn’t need to because the rack already has holes so I just fed these straps through them without needing to drill or use the cleats. It worked perfectly to hold my larger, fully loaded, RTIC cooler on my machine. I believe the straps will hold up in the woods and fields without any issues. The screws and posts provided look very durable and I would have used them if needed.

Understand what you’re buying.
Will need screws designed for metal or use bolts if mounting in truck bed. I like the sleek/low profile design. Bracket doesn’t get in the way too much when the cooler isn’t in my truck. I did try the screws it came with just to see, I didn’t expect them to work with a metal truck bed. And the picture clearly has them mounted to wood. Other than that they’re great.
