Beautiful finish, but looks weird when extruding
Prints like a dream on a Lulzbot Mini. Super shiny and smooth. Initially when changing the filament it is very blobby and extrudeds in a thick mess. I thought it was going to cause a problem but the actual print extrusion was great. Supports are a little brittle and can cause you to break the tiny parts though. So one thing to look for. Otherwise came out great. Even articulated parts!

Great Metallic Filament!!
I've been looking at "Silk Gold" filament from other manufacturers, wishing they made a 2.85 filament. But they only sell 1.75. I just found CC3D on Amazon, and they sell a "Silk Gold", "Silk Silver", and "Silk Copper" in 2.85!! So, I bought their "Silk Copper" to begin testing. I am SUPER happy with the results! I've attached a picture so others can see just how metallic looking this filament is. I'm going to purchase the Gold & Silver now! Print quality was excellent with this as well. In the picture is one of my designs printed with a 0.25 nozzle at 0.1 layer height. I've noticed from testing a few prints - the thicker the print (thicker nozzle and layer) the more shiny the model becomes. THANK YOU CC3D!!

This material really is shiny
I own two Ultimaker 3 Extended printers. Over the years I've tried dozens of "metallic" filaments. Including of course the silver that comes with every Ultimaker printer. Nothing compares with this material. Excellent adhesion, great color and glossy shine. Excellent packaging with re-closable bag. Filament was wound very evenly on the spool. No tangles. Spool fits on spool holder of the UM3 perfectly. As good as Ultimaker OEM filament. The Gear Bearing in the video is one of the most demanding models a printer can produce. Printed perfectly with all gears moving freely on the first attempt. I only purchased the copper for a trial, but based on this experience I'll probably order a spool of silver and gold.

DO NOT BUY
Maybe I just go a bad lot. This filament was brittle and broke at the slightest bend. It clogged up the print nozzle. It would not feed properly. I had to disable my print head to get this junk out. It looks great, but its not.

Ultra shiny finish! But a little brittle...
This is my first time using Silk PLA, I was skeptical at first, but after my first print, this stuff is amazing! The filament itself is a little brittle, a little bend in any direction will cause it to snap. It looks great on the roll and even better after being extruded! Prints using this material will need a lot of support structures, it behaves differently from the usual filament that I use. (PolyLite PLA)

Excellent looking PLA
As you can see from the pictures I used the Gold, Silver and copper to print some dog lamps for a dog rescue we sponsor. The lamp shade resembles the cone a dog wears sometimes when it gets back from the veterinarian. The Gold and Copper look just like gold and copper. The Silver looks shiny but not as good as the Gold and Copper. I printed using normal PLA settings in Cura. The overhang settings were changed to triangles instead of lines since the PLA is more brittle than normal PLA or PLA+. Due to the brittle nature, the collars were printed with normal PLA so I could drill into the collar and install threaded inserts for the lamp shade holder.

Really shiny!!!
I have reviewed other 3D filament before, some good, some bad, but I have got to say this is one of the better filaments that I have put through my TAZ6. I have a couple of brothers in my Scout Troop who are constantly hurting themselves so I made a silly award for them, they each got Mr. MeSeeks printed in this filament, because after all "existence is painful Marty!".

had to return
this was very brittle and snapped on a couple prints. My other filament does not do this.

比較的通常のplaより積層痕が目立ちにくく、綺麗な造形ができる。

This is the best copper colour I have come across.

maybe I was just unlucky but my roll had the occasional bump or kink here and there and that would stop my printer its not terrible to use but have to baby sit it.

Je kan hier echt prachtioge dingen mee printen alleen mijn printer Ultimaker II+ had wel moeite met dit filament, maar dat lag moegelijk meer aan de printer dan aan het filament.
