Video Review After 5 Years of Use
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using these solar-powered lights for five years now, and they’ve proven to be a reliable addition to my garden. I chose them partly for their large size, which gives them a more substantial light output, and also the solar feature means I don’t have to deal with battery changes or messy wires. After opening the box, I put them in a well-lit area near a window for a day or so to fully charge before installing them in the garden.Fitting them was straightforward; it came with screws and wall plugs, and the two holes on each light makes it easy to mount them on fences or walls etc.One handy feature is the button next to the PIR sensor. This allows you to switch between different modes easily, and in this order:- OffWhen it gets dark…- Dim constant- Dim/bright when motion is detected- Off/bright when motion is detectedThis means adjusting them after installation is much easier than with some other brands that often have switches in less accessible spots such as at the back, or not at all.In bright mode, the lights provide a strong, pure white illumination that adequately lights up a medium-sized patio. The motion sensor works well, picking up movement from a good distance, and keeping the light on for around 17-18 seconds if there’s no further activity.Overall, I’m satisfied with how these lights perform, and the longevity after five years. They are good value for money, I would recommend them to anyone looking for dependable outdoor lighting, so it’s five stars from me.I hope this review was helpful

Great outdoor security lights that really do the job
I recently picked up the HETP Solar Lights for my backyard, and I gotta say, I’m quite happy with them. Right out of the box, setting them up was a breeze. I just mounted them on the wall and made sure they were in a spot that gets plenty of sun during the day. They charge up nicely, and honestly, I've been impressed with how bright they are for being solar-powered.What I particularly like is the three modes you can choose from. Whether you want constant light, motion-activated light, or a more subtle option, it's nice to have some versatility. I’ve kept them on the motion sensor setting, and they light up immediately when someone walks by, which really adds a layer of security.Another thing worth mentioning is how well they hold up against the weather. We've had some heavy rain since I installed them, and they've been perfectly fine. The waterproof feature is definitely a plus for me as I didn't want to worry about them getting damaged.Overall, the HETP Solar Lights have been a solid purchase. They provide good illumination, have decent battery life, and are easy to install. If you’re looking for reliable outdoor lights that won’t break the bank, I’d say give these a try.

They work when you get them and stop working later
So as instructed and slightly suspicious I noted the return window time limit. I charged them in full sun for a couple of days and confirmed they were working. Popped them to one side as I needed to paint the fence they needed to be attached to. Returned this earlier month and placed them into a south facing window as before to charge up. It’s on our footpath so when I tested the first time as we passed the window the light on first test had come on via the sensor. When I put them in the window we had 2 sunny days actually sunnier than when testing them. The lights now do not come on. I tried various positions and options on the switch but nothing happens on either light. Now I suspect that the original charge was already in the batteries and the solar panels don’t actually work. So the original thumbs up to them working was from a residual battery charge. I will persist as I’ve missed the ability to return them. Please note they have not been outside at all. Just in a sunny south facing window and not left there for weeks on end. Just 2 days at the start and again just this week. I’ve bought this type of lamp many times on Amazon and never had many issues before other than a single unit total failure which was exchanged and a small unit which I suspect is not getting enough light but is over a year old now. Other than that they normally last 2 to 5 years!! And that’s after using outside!! So I’m very confused as to how it’s possible these don’t work.

Nice light and really not that big.
Well what’s to say, they work as described. Give a good light level. Easy to fit.Only small negative I could pick is that they only screw at the top none at the bottom. However this is no issue to me as it’s fitted to a wall. The wall is in direct sunlight all day so I’m happy it’ll stay charged.Straight out the box there was little charge, so when testing in dark room it started to blink instead of solid light, but few hours in the sun stopped that.I like the fact that the light is disabled if it senses light. So if you wanted it set to dim light with full light on motion detect or even just dim light it would automatically turn off when it’s not required. The light is bright if looked at directly but this is no floodlight and not what I was wanting it for. It simply lights up my driveway which is usually pitch black so we can see where we are walking without disturbing my neighbours opposite (I think/ don’t care, it would be karma)Long term well it’s solar powered, so I expect there may be times where it’ll need to be turned off for a day to recharge, it is made from a plastic and feels solid enough. I’m sure it won’t last forever but for the price paid I’d be happy with few years. All in all seems worth the money and suits intended use
