Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speaker (Pair), Black

The r51ms are used to compliment my klipsch rp500m speakers and a 12 inch subwoofer in a large living room. By placing the r51m speakers to the outside walls , and the rp500m speakers to the interior, closer to the amplifier, and with the subwoofer set on deep bass only at just enough volume to barely compliment the sound, the large living room is more than sufficiently covered with at least true high fi quality sound, if not true budget audiophile sound. My entire 2.1 system is all klipsch. That's how I want it. I am using them with a high powered tube amplifier, so presence and clarity is awesome. Placement is critical. I was initially disappointed until I switched the r51ms to the spread to the outside walls position, and the rp500ms to the interior, closer to the amplifier. The difference was remarkable. The 2 different klipsch speakers, ie one a rp and the other a r series blend together perfectly with no clash whatsoever because of somewhat more refined sound on the rp500m speakers. The rp500m speakers do sound higher end , but they are supposed to, but with the speakers as outer r51m and inner rp500m, and the klipsch subwoofer at deep bass with just a touch of volume the result is sound of such quality that I can honestly say I can be content and satisfied with it. I can say my system is complete, and no further improvement, upgrades are needed. Tower speakers as primaries are not necessary because of the high quality of sound and the high sensitivity of the 4 klipsch bookshelf speakers and klipsch subwoofer. This saves me money during this rapid inflation period of time. I could easily say that what I have sounds more than good enough to be satisfied and content with without any desire to upgrade further at this point. Shipping speed was excellent via Amazon itself, and the box and speakers arrived in handled with care and new condition. I am not disappointed at all now that the r51m speakers are the outside speakers, spread apart from corner wall to wall to compliment the interior placements of my rp500m speakers by klipsch. Im all klipsch here and I love it. 5 stars categorically. As previously stated, I see no need for primary tower speakers, even in a large living room, and that equals high quality sound and savings of money at the same time. I recommend these speakers. They do more than just do sound quality wise.

I have Klipsch center and front speakers, and a Klipsch sub, so all I needed were matching surround speakers. I love the copper look of Klipsch! These were well packaged, so no damage. A good size for sitting on end tables. Cost wasn’t bad, and I got it on sale. It seemed like they were discounting these periodically as I had my eyes on these a while. Nice loud speakers for their size, Klipsch is good at being very power efficient, so more volume for its size. As for other speaker details, I recommend looking at Crutchfield audio website to learn specific details about these if you are debating what speakers you want.

Sound quality, the quality of materials used to manufacture product is exceptional (a rarity these days), price, aesthetically pleasing, clarity of sound, range is exceptional. So far I've only used these on my home built desktop with an external amp, and with a software equalizer these little giants put out some quality audio. I plan on hooking them up to one of my TV's next for the full home-theater experience.

A great bookshelf speaker! They do not offer the "breadth" of larger floor standing speakers but for the size and price, they sound great. I do recommend they be paired with a subwoofer. They seem to be built well, my only complaint so far is the black "ebony" color seems to scratch rather easily so be careful. Construction is sound, they are well built "economy" speakers that also look good. Well done Klipsch!

For passive speakers, these sound fantastic. I can hear things that I wasn’t able to before. Highly recommend if you have a more compact amp/pre amp. I trust this brand because it’s been around forever which was another reason.

These are really great speakers. I got them to go with my husband's new record player for Christmas. These really sound fantastic. A rich range, with a nice bass that's not too much. They were easy to connect to the player. I like a rich sound better then bright (I think if it's too bright it doesn't have enough bass), and these definitely fit the bill. I got these on a black Friday deal which was even better. They are a good value for the quality.

Don't let the size or price fool you. They are clear, exceptionally smooth, and even though they have a low frequency bottom end of of only 62 Hz, they do exceptionally well with classical music, smooth jazz, standards. and singer/songwriter music. And the imaging is incredible. For the moment, I am listening Spotify (lossless). It sounds great. I look forward hooking up my Rotel CD player when I can get it oit of storage. Highly recommend!

Fantastic pair for 2.1 stereo or as a high end addition to full surround. Even as main fronts or studio monitors these are phenomenal value. Never buy a pre-built again, a simple DAC amp or receiver with a powered sub is way better bang for the buck. Crystal clear audio at very low volumes as well as very loud. They respond excellent to software equalization, capable of some bass on their own if you don't want a full subwoofer with them (highly recommend 10" or larger subwoofer). The sensitivity is such that even a simple amp can drive these very well for an 8ohm passive speaker, which is great for small units or a cottage or apartment. They're very bright in sound thanks to the horn shape tweeter space, but if you keep the magnetic shields on it attenuate the high end just a little for a personal preference adjustment. After breaking them in for a week there's no hissing, whine, static, fuzz, or any discernable audio when playback is stopped so careful not to leave them on, there's almost no way to tell just by listening for electrical noise. These pack a punch, they're very clean in looks and sound, but if you're into warm sound (lows and mids emphasized) rather than bright, clean vocals and instruments this brand may not be your best fit. These are amazing for all types and styles of music, and especially movies / games with that clear high end though, so I'd recommend them to anyone on a budget who wants an upgrade from even the best all-in-one stereos available. Build a system with these speakers and a small amp and you'll have a system to gush over for years to come since these can be added on to any high end home theatre solution at any price range down the line.

These R-51M bookshelf speakers have been on my Wishlist since I first listed to them a year ago. To be clear, I am not a big fan of the so called "Klipsch sound"; however, these speakers can sing beautifully! Paired with a Harman HK3490, a Harman AVR171/171S, or an Onkyo TX-RZ50, the sound you get out of these is unmatched for the price point in my opinion. Although these do not go very low, the bass performance you get from 100Hz and below is quick and punchy, though you will require a subwoofer if you mean business. Now, the stars of the show; the mid range and high notes! I cannot even begin to describe how awesome these sound! The mid range is very clean with sublime vocals, and the top range is so detailed and provides insane clarity. I had these hooked in to my receiver for a good time and never felt fatigue, which I usually get rather fast with other Klipsch speakers I listen to. If you're one of those who are after clinical tests of neutrality, I doubt that these speakers are for you. However, if you forget graphs for a second and give these a listen if you can demo them somewhere, I am sure you'll hear a lot to appreciate. I used these as my main speakers for listening in the near field and in a mid-sized room with no treatment. Finally, I also think the R-51M looks beautiful with those silver screws contrasting the black baffle, the copper drivers, and the tweeter's horn. I find them very pleasing to look at with the grill too but mostly without it. To sum up, these are very clear and detailed sounding speakers with reference-level audiophile performance. They are very dynamic, engaging, and fun to listen to, and they're a bargain at the current price for the performance you get. For reference, my main audiophile system is based on a pair Focal Chora towers, so if I like the sound of these, it speaks volume about the value for money you get from the Klipsch R-51M!

Ordine arrivato subito in anticipo rispetto ai tempi previsti. Per chi non ha delle esigenze particolari, prodotto di buona qualità anche se ci sarebbe di meglio, però incrementando il budget di almeno 50%. Aggiungo una stella dopo un mese di rodaggio, il suono è migliorato tantissimo, soprattutto gli acuti

Menciono otra vez que no soy profesional del audio y aprendo de los videos de YouTube. Llego bien la caja, sin daños y adentro de otra caja. Buen sonido, pero se escucha mejor separando las bocinas entre sí unos 4 metros, las tengo en una sala de 5x4 metros, con muebles y sin acondicionar. Alimentadas por un amplificador SMSL AO200MKII y con Deezer. Pero llega un momento que se distorsiona con los graves a un alto volumen, no es lo suyo los graves, hay que bajar los gravez. Los medios creo, se escuchan mas o menos. Pero es necesario añadir un subwoofer y asi se escucha la diferencia, realmente se realza la calidad del sonido añadiendo un subwoofer. Las considero unas bocinas suficientes para llenar mi sala a buen volumen ( un poco alto) y buena calidad de audio. Son las primeras bocinas que adquiero. No se como sonaran otras marcas , pero para empezar, valio la pena la compra. Ademas, con opcion de pago accesible.

Comprei essas caixas para usar com um receiver stereo no escritório e me atenderam muito bem. Não são caixas refinadas e nem para ambientes grandes, mas tocam muito bem, não causam fadiga auditiva e atendem desde que sejam utilizadas da maneira correta. Sendo assim, se você precisa de uma caixa com visual bacana, com um som que não decepciona, com um ótimo custo x benefício, elas irão lhe atender perfeitamente. São bem construídas, a tela de proteção é com imã e a embalagem é bem bacana e proteje muito bem o produto durante o transporte.
