Great product for paper circuit projects
The media could not be loaded. I used this for a summer science program making light-up Father’s Day cards with kids. The copper tape worked well with other components for conducting current and each person’s card lit up! Note: Younger kids may need assistance removing the adhesive backing and placing the tape.

Works as intended
Used this to do a little project on an aging Cobalt Flux DDR pad, worked like a charm. The only reason I'm dropping a star is that no one makes a shorter roll. I don't want to buy 36 yards of this product; there should be a sampler pack of some sort so that I can get each of the different widths. 2" tape would have been more useful, but at a prohibitive $120, it's not worth it just to try it.P.S. For metal-to-metal DDR pad owners:Originally I tried just the tape, but that made an awful racket whenever I stepped and was quite distracting.Instead, I did a hybrid penny mod where you tape the underside of the penny with the copper tape with enough of it exposed on the sides to tape down with some regular electrical tape.I used 8 pennies per arrow in a square pattern, and 32 cents in pennies later, the pad is extremely responsive.

Works fine; sticky, and conductive!
When you need to tape something, and you also need that tape to conduct electricity on both sides and through the tape itself, Kapton Tape comes through for you. Granted, there are not many situations where that is the case; but they do arise, and when you come across one, nothing else will do. I used this in conjunction with some wider copper tape to isolate the inside of my electric guitar from interference, and IT WORKED. It now no longer buzzes and hums like it used to!I would buy a thicker width if I was shielding another guitar; 1/4" turned out to be a bit too narrow for that application, but that's not the tape's fault. It sticks well and conducts well.Be aware that the edges of the tape are pretty sharp. You can easily cut yourself with this if you're not careful.

Good for soldering. Product arrived as described.
Copper tape in general is great. I've been taping this onto 3d-printed plastic parts and then soldering electronic components onto the tape. If the plastic has time to melt while soldering, the copper adheres to the plastic a little better. (fyi, using plastic as a soldering board is a terrible idea). Note that the tape is rated to 155F, so it will lose adhesion under high temperatures. Occasionally while soldering, in fact, the copper does seem to come off the plastic. I'm not sure how well the adhesion will hold up over time. I'll try this etching this tape to make real (low temperature) circuit boards soon and will hopefully report results here.

Razor Sharp Edges - Be careful
This tape is not what I expected. I bought it for gardening to wrap around the rim of my pots & planters, which keeps snails & slugs out. This tape is TINY. It's maybe 1/4 inch wide and the edges of the copper are RAZOR sharp. I peeled the tape off the back side, held down the tape with one hand, and then slid my finger across the tape as I pressed it around my planter. I immediately had a huge razor cut across the entire tip of my finger. No matter how careful I tried to be with the tape, I sliced my fingers open. By the end of a few pots, it looked like I had a fight with Edward Scissor hands and lost. On the positive side, it's a long roll of tape! Which is hard to keep together actually; it kept unraveling and when I'd try to wind it back on the core, I would slice my fingers. I eventually put on leather gloves I have for gardening, but they are so bulky that I had no dexterity to try to use the tiny strips of copper. I would not recommend this product for gardening. It might be fine for plumbing or whatever one uses this kind of stuff for.I strongly recommend using the copper tape from garden centers. It is 4 times wider, like the width of scotch tape and it's super super thing gauge like tape, which makes it bend and apply very easy WITH NO CUTS! It's WAY more expensive than this tape though. And, it's a much shorter roll of tape.

Works great as speaker wire.
I used this in my apartment living room to make ghost wires for my surround speakers. It works perfectly for my application. The adhesive is not bad and you can solder to it with no issues at all. The tape is also conductive through the adhesive, which works great for easily making connections. Just what I needed.

Not just for paper circuits
I chose this based on another teacher's posting of his supply list for paper circuits. This worked great and I have a sample in my bag that I am constantly showing to colleagues. An easy, hands-on way to talk about circuits. And to create Art. And to practice teamwork, persistence, and creativity. (One thing I learned: the adhesive can block conductivity. This was a great learning/teaching moment so I am NOT sharing to steer you away from this product.)
