I have bought a similar climate change mug before, where part of the landscape disappears as you fill the mug with hot water and that was a great product. But on this mug, the changes are so slight and so difficult to see, that is really underwhelming. I bought it as a present and was really disappointed by it.

Nothing much changed when the mug was filled with hot water. I have seen other mugs which change dramatically.

I really wanted to give this as a gift—the next day, which was possible if I was willing to pick it up at a nearby Amazon Locker-very easy. It looked very nice; don’t know yet if the special effects work with the hot liquids etc. but it got the intended chuckles and laughs. It was intact, well packaged and incredibly fast!

The mug came in perfect shape. Same as advertised

Looks just like the picture.It's a gift so i don't know how it works.

Its a really cool mug with a fantastic idea! But the colour change is very minimal and you can still see the land when it is hot, it looks pale green instead of dark green/brown
