ITs D CLASS.. The major plus point of Class D is that it is very energy efficient. A typical Class A design tends to be around 30% efficient. Class A/B roughly doubles that while Class D amplifiers almost triples it. That means proportionately lower power consumption and less heat. The reduced amount of heat lowers the heatsinking requirement considerably, allowing the manufacturer to make the product smaller (and lighter). The sheer efficiency also allows Class D amplifiers to deliver huge power outputs for their size. And its PIONEER so what's not to like.. It does not come with a bass remote, you have to set the bass at the amp. I LOVE IT.....

This product doesn't come with a bass remote or a port to add one purchased separately

The base boost remote is missing even if the level of the product says that it includes base boost remote. I believe it's crucial as the output is nearly without base and there is no other way to get the desired base without the base boost remote. I'm definitely returning the item.
