Academy A-10 1/72
Great kit. I was happy it had Moody AFB tail letters seeing as I grew up in Valdosta, Ga. And also pretty cool it has the Killer Chick's markings. Went together well with no issues. Great for a beginner which I was when assembling the kit. It is a tail sitter so wrap some pennies in tape or throw some lead fishing weights. I didn't know that so I made a tail stand out of cockpit sprue.

Nice model, but add lots of weight to cockpit.
Didn’t give 5 stars because of the significant amount of time having to file off flashing on all parts. Also, I knew the cockpit needed weight to balance out the plane when completed, but I had to use 5 nails and 5 split shot fishing weights before it would sit on the front tire. Had to use the whole wheel-well for weights. Otherwise the quality is great and it looks pretty good even without paint.

Great gift for preteen.
Wonderful bonding experience for father and son. It takes a long time but the end result is so rewarding.

Nice details but difficult to make it look "professionally" built
Pros: - Nicely detailed for 1/72, with recessed panel lines. -Great armament selection included Cons: -Difficult to piece the fuselage halves together, this model has bad seam lines everywhere - Unless you add weight to the front before glueing halves together, it's a complete tail sitter. I didn't put enough in there and didn't realize till the engines were added as it fell backwards. Too late to fix that - Decals were ok, but didn't really stick well. The front shark mouth was particularly tricky to set correctly around the curved nose It's maybe 3 stars because of how painstaking it was to build. Majority of this model just didn't seem to want to fit together without effort and patience. If you're looking for a flawless fit and finish, this one will require good filling and sanding skills that I just did not have the patience for. But in the end it looks good for casual builders who may not care as much

Fun and entertaining
Fun build easy to assemble easy instructions to follow you can build this kit in two days only because of painting one day if you just want to build something quick and fun.

Too much trouble to be fun
This is horrible. Tiny parts and poor instructions. Part are glued together at 90 degree angles making it very flimsy. Decals are not stickers, must be cut out, and are microscopic.
