Ice Cube Tray Mold Combo Large Square and Round Silicone for Whiskey Ice and Cocktails

I've been searching for large ice molds for fancy-looking drinks and I came across these. I liked that I could get both spheres and cubes in the same product order, but the price really piqued my interest. The molds are much sturdier than others that I have seen, making transfer from the sink to the freezer a simpler task. The sphere mold is a bit tricky to fill, but gets easier with practice. Great product, especially for the price!

This one is a no-brainer. If you like liquor on ice, buy this product. My husband likes the cubes, I like the spheres. Has that cool novelty aspect, but also really works to keep your drink cold without melting too much in to your drink. We love it! Easy to use, easy to open, easy to clean and re-use. I love the big square ice cubes. They work perfectly for chilling cocktails with out watering them down. For extra fun, look up how to make completely clear cubes. I'm not as big of a fan of the sphere mold. It's a little hard to use, I usually end up with some water on top that turns into ice sheets. They make it a bit of a pain to get the cubes out. The bigger problem I have is that the mold doesn't seem to really close completely, so I end up with several of the ice spheres connected together by little sheets of ice. Makes it a bit of a pain to break them off to keep them sphere sized.

I bought these after having a cocktail at a bar that had one huge ice cube and I wanted to replicate it. I love these! The square cubes are bigger than those of many other molds out there. They're very easy to fill and the cubes come out very easily and beautifully. I always show off with my big square cubes and/or round ice cubes when I'm hosting (they're not really cubes if they're round, but what should I call them then?).

Works as just as advertised. I've used both the cubes and the spheres. They take a while to freeze, due to the size of the ice cubes. They are really easy to get out of the ice trays. These ice cubes melt surprisingly fast for how big they are! They make a fun novelty ice cube.

There's a lot to like about this product, but there's also a few issues too. The good news is that the item is as described, it arrived quickly, and it was easy to use the molds (both the spheres and the squares came out perfect). My beef is partly with the pics used in the ads and partly with myself. I was really looking for a large round sphere in which each ball BY ITSELF would be enough to fill a standard 'old fashioned' glass (the small whiskey glasses) - this is what I thought I was seeing in the picture (1 sphere per glass). However the round spheres are way too small to do the job by themselves - you need to use 2 balls to provide enough ice per glass (which is a problem when your mold only makes 4 balls) and this starts to defeat the purpose vs just using regular ice. I blame myself a bit because if you look at all the pics you'll see the final one shows the dimensions of the balls so I guess I should known better. I will say that I am glad I bought the set that provided the square cubes because those work much better to fill a glass by themselves and also because you get 6 cubes per mold. If I had to do over again I would just get 2 6-square molds and ditch the 4-sphere mold. Bottom line: molds work fine but the spheres are way too small

These ice cube trays are easy to use and make wonderfully large cubes (and balls!) that keep drinks cooler longer with less melting (since there is less surface area to melt away compared to umpteen smaller cubes). The package came quickly. Because there are only six cubes and four balls in an order, you need to spend a bit of time in advance making them, or you can simply buy multiple sets and make your life easier.

These molds are super fun and versatile. It took me a while to figure out how to fill the sphere cubes though! At first I tried to fill through the holes, but it tuns out that you fill the first try 3/4 full and clamp on the top. Takes a few tries to get it right, but it's still fun to do. I get a lot of compliments when I have a few drinks with friends over... the large squares look great with whisk(e)y!

Expensive. They work
