This is a brilliant book
This is a brilliant book. There are a lot of questions that people don't ask because it seems like they don't realize that the end is going to come. This book does a few things:1. It asks the questions;2. It answers them;3. It does both of these things with a narrative arc-- from the perspective of both a doctor and a person who is going through the loss of a loved one.The author's prose is beautiful and clear, and the book is so easy to read that it can be finished in a single afternoon. Two at the most. The references are easy to find and well organized. And most important-- they exist! This is not a long book about someone's speculations about some topic with nothing to back it up. (See: Carter G. Woodson/ WEB duBois.)Verdict: Worth the price. Worth the time. Strongly recommended.(NB. I read the English edition. I purchased the Chinese edition for my wife.)
