was needing a good replacement for a cord i used over 6 years, this does the job quite nicely.

In the past I bought the 3 in 1 flat cable that's lasted me 6 years I couldn't remember which one I had bought previously before so I had bought the wrong one this time and had to send it back as the 3 in 1 round cable had only lasted me on the 4th day of use so make sure you buy the flat cable and not the round. I'll be reordering the flat cable when the come back in stock.

After using the cable for only a couple weeks, it wasn't able to maintain a functioning state after a few rounds of walking back and forth in my room. For reference: The official cable from HTC had lasted me a little over a year, and that's with all the crazy acts that I pull in VR. Sprinting, jumping, rolling, throwing myself across the room in general, had never hindered the ability of the official cable to function. It'd simply died of old age. The sizing of the cable ends was sloppy, and left me jamming the inserts into my headset. Not only was this worrying to do, I had to do this multiple times, as SteamVR does not recognize the cable's video feed as genuine. To get the cable to function, I had to: 1: pull out my old and battered HTC official cable and plug it in 2: start SteamVR and confirm a connection 3: start replacing the old cable with this Bootleg If this alone doesn't put you off, any time I has to utilize the quick release of my cable set-up, it would completely cease to function, forcing me to restart and repeat the steps above. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE. It wasn't even CLOSE to 16 feet anyway, which I figured to be a lie anyhow. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE FOR THE SAKE OF YOURSELF AND THE AMAZON STOREFRONT, DO NOT BUY THIS On a further note, I had tried to return the cable for a refund, and after a full week of waiting, I haven't had the slightest clue on whether or not I am going to be compensated. Woopie.

The flat design not only looks sleek but also prevents tangling, which is a huge plus compared to the original HTC Vive cable. Setup was a breeze; I plugged it in, and it worked flawlessly right out of the box. What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my first cable, but Skywin's customer support was incredibly helpful and promptly sent me a replacement without any hassle. They were courteous and understanding, ensuring I had a positive experience overall. Since receiving the replacement, I've been using the cable daily without any issues. It delivers a stable connection, and I haven't noticed any drop in performance compared to the original HTC cable. worked well as a full time vr content creator when my headset died i needed something to get me back up and running quickly and this worked well, however I'm noticing after frequent use it likes to tangle on itself pretty heavily which makes it super annoying not a deal breaker as u can just stretch the cord out just a bit cumbersome is all. other then that it works as intended and well .

UPDATE : The flat cables are available again ! Just go for them and don't order directly from HTC ever again, this old-school like version of the 3-in-1 cable just lasts muuuch longer than any "round" cable either from HTC or another brand. It's just a more resistant design. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Owning a VR center, and the official Vive cables being very fragile, we tend to change them very often. After deciding to stop altogether with the official brand, I first bought a bunch of the first version of these cables, in a first version similar to the old official Vive cable, 3-in-1 but each cable next to another in a "flat" way. (Cable on the left on the picture) That first version was perfect in the way that the cable would coil less easily and thus preveting internal damage on either the HDMI or the USB cable inside. By switching to a version similar to the official one (cable on the right on the picture), they also adopted their flaws, and now they break just as easily. I would really wish to have the choice to buy the old ones again !

Purchased for my HTC Vive as that 3-n-1 cable died after years of use. This was a good price for a replacement cable. It worked beautifully for 6 months- the cables fit perfectly into the designated slots and it seemed very sturdy. Around the 6 month mark, it began to fizzle out the way the old, damaged cord would do. I checked for damage but there is none. I'm not sure what the issue is, other than a design flaw. Regardless, it worked perfectly for the 6 months. I'd be willing to try this product again just to make sure the error isn't on my end, but I doubt it is.

Great If you are looking for a replacement cable for the vive wireless for original vive headset. I see a lot of people saying its short. There is a longer option in there store. It does say the length in the tittle. works great no issue. Will buy in the future if I need more or just one for backup. !!

Still on my first one and bought 2 more for replacements for the future, cheaper than any second hand 3 in 1 short cables as HTC doesn't make them anymore. If you know how to thread it around the headset properly with your wireless adapter it's like it's not even here. It would be lovely if Skywin made 3rd party short 3 in 1 cables for the wireless folks :)
