I got this to make some crochet shoes out of thong sandals. So I need the tool to make the holes. I haven't done the project yet, but hopefully soon. It is the right tool for the job. These are a little smaller than I was hoping for but they will work fine for what I intend to use them for. One problem I have always had is when drilling in drywall for anchors it seems like the bit walks on one of the holes so things don't line up quite like I want. Now with these I can use the fine point to hit the mark and use them as sort of a center punch for drywall. So far working good.

I dont know how I sewed so many years without this gadget! I also use it to poke holes for snaps and hardware on fabric. Fast delivery. Exactly as pictured and as described. Good price. I would recommend to every machine sewer and would buy again.

These awls are pretty small. The first time I used one I broke the tip off. I've always been used to a larger version that has a thicker Spike to it. But, I sharpened it with some sandpaper and it's been great ever since. I wouldn't try to poke a hole in Walnut or other very hardwoods, but they're only a couple dollars and they worked for lots of craft projects

2 small awls with wooden handles, a very helpful tool for leather craft. Convenient and easy to use.

Came very sharp in the point.The size is smaller then you would think but if your using it as a scratch awl for leather or wood or to stretch the holes back open while back stitching leather goods it's IMHO the perfect size. I would like to have seen this 2 pack come with a small and a medium awl in stead of 2 small ones but that's a liked too. For the money they are well made and sturdy.

It was little expensive for something like that. The item does not work efficiently.

I use this awl to help with my beading work. it is sturdy and works very well.
