I use these remotes on every trip
I bought 4 of these and I carry one around during my vacations. We take family photos with an iPhone and a tripod. The remote is easy to hold, the finger hole is great so I don’t drop it. It pairs easily with the phone and reconnects every time, instantly controls the camera shutter. It drops connectivity after 5 minutes when we’re reviewing photos but reconnects if you turn it off and on. The little LED on the side is a good indicator. Battery life is good. The range is good, works 20 feet behind my back in a wide open space. Any future and I need to have the remote in front of me.

Compatible with Galaxy s25 ultra
Didn't come on day it was supposed to but it works great. I have Galaxy S25 ultra and they disabled their remote on the stylus pen so I got this to help when needing a remote. Very nice and works great. It is Galaxy S25 ultra compatible

Good enough
Works okay for taking pics remotely while solo traveling. Had to replace once already due to connection issues. Otherwise, perfect for throwing in gear bag or on key ring. Small and compact size, would recommend.

Just GET IT and QUIT thinking about it!
This little dandy worked 3+ years after I bought it, without ever having used it, AND jumping iPhone models - I went from a 12 pro max to a 15 pro max, and it totally works!!! I obviously had to change the battery, but it works like Amazon just delivered it yesterday, and as if it were 2022. Get it. Quit thinking about it. Just GET IT. Btw, it does more than operate your cam shutter - I was on YT and hit the button and it turned up the volume! LOVE IT 🩷

Flawed Operation with Android
Doesn't work with Android. I tried it on two phones, one with Android 15 and the other with the latest Android 16. In both cases it will pair and work one time, but after turning CamKix off and back on it won't reconnect unless the device is forgotten and re-paired. Way too much trouble to deal with each time. I also tested with an iPhone, which works OK.
