Good initial rejection and good flow
Just replaced Hydronix BW-4040 membrane that went bad after about 2 years and 5 months. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R16FWRWQBFE8GZ/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01CFOGPXYInitial rejection rate is on par with the Hydronix, but the flow rate is much better. Both are rated at 2400 gal per day, but I could never get more than 1 gpm with Hydronix. This one is flowing at 1.6 gpm so far. Let see how long this one will last. Using in on my whole house well water RO filtration system.Fast delivery, good flow and good rejection rate.

Just save yourself a headache and buy something better
I have two of these. The steel housing itself is totally fine, but the ports on the endcaps are obviously oversized and are all somewhere between difficult and impossible to get sealed.I've tried various fittings and they all screw all of the way in with very little torque. The seller's advice was literally to just keep adding tape until it will actually tighten up, which is more than a little absurd. I ended up doing 6 wraps of blue monster (2-3x the normal number) and I still have seepage. Even if it actually worked, I'd consider it to be a bandaid at best. NPT fittings require strong thread engagement, and you're just not going to get that with extra layers of tape.Either the seller doesn't know, or just doesn't care enough to make their product right, and they seem to have zero interest in resolving this issue. You'll be better off spending a few more dollars and avoiding this altogether.

Do this to solve leaking problem
As other customers have noted, the tapped threads are a bit loose and the amount of sealant required to prevent a leak is questionable. I therefore recommend using 5-minute epoxy on the male threads and hand tighten them in. Follo this immediately with a close-fit union so you can still remove the housing for service. One could also epoxy in a stainless or brass male nipple.

Works great and a lot cheaper than buying it from a professional window cleaning store
These are great to use for helping improve the purity of water. It essentially helps purify the water down to 90 or 95% purity which is fantastic and it lasts you forever. We’ve only bought it this year so we don’t know how long it last but if you take good care of it, it should last a good five maybe seven years.
