Counting Sheep Coffee - Lights Out! 18 Single Serve Pods

I am one of those people that can't sleep for anything. I have lots of health issues, and severe insomnia is one of them. I'm actually on a sleeping medicine <Elavil> plus I take Melatonin every single night. I get about 4 hours of sleep, and that's really good compared to the 2-3 hours for the past 15 years.I recently started drinking coffee <hadn't for 50 years!!> and when I saw this I just had to try it out to see if I could get any benefits. I originally bought 40 Winks! and Lights Out!, and although the after taste is much different then other coffees I've had, it's not so terrible that I would discount stars for it, or not buy it. After adding sugar and flavored creamer <chocolate or a caramel creamer is awesome btw!> I don't even notice it!As far as helping me sleep....this is what I can tell you. I take my nighttime medicines and then drink a cup of Lights Out!, and within 20 minutes...I am actually sleepy. When I start to feel sleepy - I go to bed. I fall asleep within 10-15 minutes. Yep, I do. <I'm usually awake for 2-3 hours after medication, tossing and turning.>. Not when I drink this coffee. I don't know if the Valerian adds any good benefits to the Elavil or Melatonin I take, but I am now falling asleep faster and can continue sleeping.I can tell you I'm a very light sleeper, so if there's a thunder storm....first clap of thunder I'm awake. A dog barks...I'm up. A car drives by and has the stereo blasting..I'm up. My husband sneezes I'm up. It makes me SO mad!! No amount of medicine of anything can put me back to sleep.This coffee relaxes me to the point that I can fall back asleep.There's NO CAFFEINE in this coffee, so when I drink it at 9 or 10pm...it doesn't keep me awake, make me jittery, or have any of the "normal" negative side effects of caffeine. For other reviewers that are saying this coffee kept them awake all night and had to go to the restroom numerous times - it was NOT from this coffee!!! Caffeine makes you jumpy <if there's a lot of it!> and it makes you go to the bathroom <same as any caffeinated drink>.I love this coffee and the benefit I have gotten from it. I'm not looking for something to knock me out for 8 hours...I just want to be able to fall asleep and get more sleep then I was getting, and I get that help from this. So I will keep buying it, and I do recommend it to anyone I know who has trouble sleeping....whether it's all the time, or just occasional insomnia.

Tried the "Lights Out" 2 occasions, did not get any sleep aid effect.

I absolutely love it and recommend Counting Sheep Coffee. It has allowed me to relax and fall asleep more easily (which is usually a challenge for me.) I was also very impressed by how full the taste is, while not being overpowering. I'll no doubt be ordering more!

It's good in the sense that it lets me drink java before bed and doesn't keep me awake. But I don't care for the taste of it.

Not sure if it helps me sleep..I have had it twice..once I slept and once I didn't..story of my life. It tasted good and I like the idea of being able to drink coffee at night.

This is a fabulous product. It helps me sleep thru the night and I have not done this in a very long time. Chemotherapy did damage to my heart and I have not been able to have any caffeine since, so this is a great product! Plus, if you are going thru menopause and can't sleep buy this!!! I found this product thru a sample pack of decafe flavors (great marketing) and then I searched it out to buy just it! They do need to ship this product better. It was just in a shipping bag (no bubble wrap or padding) so one of the k-cup was smashed and I had coffee on everything, which also made for one less cup of coffee I had paid for, but otherwise I will keep buying this product.

For years I joked about having a bedtime cup of coffee and now I can actually have it. Great taste, and it does help me sleep.

Awful taste! If you're a coffee lover, you will not enjoy this product.
