I got this light to be my main go to light for my mobile light kit. I have 3 smaller LED panels, and with the addition of this Aputure light, my kit is now complete. But honestly, I could just use this one big light in certain circumstances. I purchased this because it is the go to light for many of the YouTube creators I follow. And most of them say you can pretty much just use this light for everything you want to do. The only drawback was the the outer diffuser ripped slightly, but that was my fault. I detached it improperly. But I contacted Aputure and they sent me a link to replace that one piece. And it was only $12. Very happy with their customer service as well.

Double the output of the prior 120d model, this new lamp showed an astounding improvement. Thought the fresnel mount and barn doors must be bought seperate, it was well worth the price given it’s versatility and convenience. The fact the V- mount battery can attach to the ballast instead of the lamp head is a saving grace when rigging it high or arming it over locations. After buying this I bought the 300d model almost a week after.Two thumbs up .

Working great so far! I ran it continuously for a few hours at 65% lighting a time lapse with zero problem - didn't overheat or appear to change output or color shift. I'm very happy with the color quality of the light. While I haven't run exact tests yet, I don't see any green/magenta tint issues and color rendition looks great to my eye. The bowens mount has worked fine with the non-Aputure light modifiers I've used on it so far.

One of the most versatile lights I’ve ever owned. It can be a soft light, fresnel, China ball, Leko, or punch light! The wireless remote works great, and we use it on DMX all the time. I imagine a bi-color version will be somewhere down the road.

The color rendition is nearly perfect. I ordered this with the Light Dome, and it does not disappoint! It's bright enough to light an entire room, and when paired with the Light Dome casts a beautifully soft light on interview subjects. I've used it as my key light on numerous shoots since purchasing and am thrilled with the results.

I spent 800 dollars on this light a year ago and now it only turns on for 8 seconds and shuts off! HELP!
