NUK First Essentials Kiddy Cutlery Forks

Why is it so hard to find forks that actually work? My son is 2.5 and we needed real, stab-able (not a word I realize) forks. These do the job perfectly. They're sharp enough to actually pick up food and dishwasher safe. Score! The grip is solid and seems to hold up well. We have used the Boon brand silverware but found those too pricey. I saw other 3-piece sets that I like but really, what toddler needs a knife? And even if/when we want to teach him to use one, I doubt we'll need more than one. All I want are good quality forks at a reasonable price and these are perfect. Somehow, we always wind up losing toddler forks and spoons - they accidentally get thrown away and we have 1 fork and a bunch of infant spoons. This was a great purchase to stock up on forks, with the bonus of being brightly colored so hopefully they don't get thrown away! I ordered these in early May and got the pink ones (as shown in picture). I really didn't care and my son loves them, but I know some people are looking for specific colors. In order to get the Add-On price, you have to be willing to get a random color.

Our 2-year-old loves these forks--they're a perfect size, both in length and thickness. We also love that the points are usable without being too sharp...hard to explain, but we had one of those forks with the "rounded" tongs that drove her (and therefore, us) crazy. These forks work great for stabbing anything on her plate, but she's never (in over a year's time) "hurt" herself with them. Great price, we had to buy more because she wanted them for every meal, and I got tired of washing dishes that often. :-) Love that you can buy just the forks in a separate pack, the knives that come with the set are pretty pointless.

These are great forks. It really helps my 18 month old daughter get a feel for using this utensil. The base is wide and rubber which makes it easier for her to grip and the fork part is actually metal which (I believe) lets her think that she is using a real fork. I've ordered several of these so I can carry some in the diaper bag for when we go out to eat. Now I didn't actually receive the pinks ones like I ordered, but I didn't care enough to make the exchange. I got blue and green instead. I know that Amazon has a great return/exchange policy but it wasn't worth my time because she is just as happy with the blue or green fork.

These have become a repeat purchase for me, as they are my four-year-old’s favorite fork. I have tried numerous brands and styles over the years, and this Nuk version has emerged the winner! They are usually sold only as “assorted colors” in the three-packs on Amazon, so keep that in mind in case you don’t like the excitement of the surprise (read: gamble, if you have a picky child). Fortunately, while I do have a picky child, he also loves all colors, and has been happy with the green, pink, and blue colors in which these forks are made. Phew! That said, I have wound up receiving green most often, pink once, and this most recent time when I ordered two sets at the same time...blue and green! That’s like winning the parent lottery! These forks are at a great price point, and even at the slightly increased recent price, are a great value! That is very much appreciated, since our forks have had a tendency to disappear into abyss of my husband’s car and at my son’s preschool in the past. They are durable, and have held up very well through both hand-washing and dishwasher cleaning, as well as through general toddler use and abuse. No issues with broken or bent fork teeth/prongs, and no issues with rust, discoloration, or separation from handle. My son and I highly recommend these toddler forks!

The forks are perfect for my two year old. They are sharp enough to stab food but not so sharp I worry about her hurting herself. The handle and overall size is just right for her little hands. I can toss them in the dishwasher with everything else and they still look brand new. I was hoping to get pink but I got blue. Not biggie. Great product. Great price. Highly recommend.

These forks are the easiest for my daughter to use. I was worried about them being metal but the metal makes them actually easier for her to use in my opinion. She struggles with the plastic once because they don’t stab as well. Hands down I pick these every time. I gave one less star because I ordered pink and got green. Wasn’t going oso go through sending them back so we just used them otherwise no complaints!

These a great, easy to hold and get the job done. The only complaint I have is that the material is kind of like rubbery so my little one chews on the handle side and leaves naw marks on them. But otherwise great

My son started using these around 16 months and they are so easy for him to hold and use. A month later and he’s a pro with this fork. It’s short and wide enough for a new eater.

Los tenedores atrapan muy bien las pequeñas porciones que come un niño, me gusta el mango fácil de agarrar sin resbalarse y no tienen las puntas filosas evitando que se lastimen. Me llegaron en color verde como queríamos.

Su mango permite fácil agarre para que aprenda a usar utensilios. Puntas seguras.

Buenísimos para chiquitos, no filosos y prácticos

A mi hija de dos años le gustaron bastante, son de tamaño adecuado para sus manos y son seguros, el único tema es que al ser tan seguros no tienen filo en los dientes lo que dificulta pinchar alguna que otra comida, pero en la mayoria funciona bien

Ya había leído comentarios sobre la elección de color, pero intenté 2 veces y las mismas me salieron rosas y tengo niño. Deberían tomar en cuenta tantas opiniones sobre el mismo problema y aunque cuesten un poco más, poder elegir el color.
