I waited a while to post this to make sure my stuff wouldn't unstick and fall like with most other similar products, and I am happy to report that that is not the case. These strips are easy to use, look amazing in black and stick extremely well even to coarse surfaces (my apartment walls are all grainy). The one gripe I have with these products are the instructions, I actually found it easier to just stick the stuff on the wall and press it intermittently until I was confident it wouldn't fall instead of the way they recommended, which was more infuriating than anything since the strip on the product and the one on the wall don't perfectly line up

Worked great! Used to hang 8" canvases on wall. Only used one strip at top of canvas, per canvas. I've been using these strips for years with no issues. My trick - follow the instructions as much as possible. I remove the first strip's backing and place on canvas. Then, I place the top "Velcro" strip on and hold firmly for about 30 seconds. I, then, rub around the strip to ensure that the corners and edges are adhered. I leave that to sit for a little time. I did not wipe my wall down with alcohol, but I did use a dry dusting cloth. I removed the top strip's backing and placed against the wall, and held for about 30 seconds to a minute. I, again, try to ensure that the corners and edges are adhered to the wall. Yes, it's time consuming, but I'd rather it be done right.

Bought these thinking they were a really sturdy velcro. They are similar but cannot be attached and unattached repeatedly like velcro. In all fairness, I wasn't trying to use them to attach a picture. I was trying to attach an electronic device to a flat surface in my van. The first time I attached the 2 sides together, I heard the velcro "crunch" and my device was well attached. The problem came about when I uninstalled my device to put it in the glove box for theft prevention. Each time I did this it became more difficult to "crunch" the command strips together. Now those 2 strips pretty much don't work. Moral of the story is be careful how many times you attach the 2 sides together. Unlike velcro, they do have a limited life span.

I've been using these to hang art on my walls for years without putting holes in the walls. Always useful, I buy them in bulk.

Black is less noticeable behind stuff, imo. So many uses for these things, but not cheap.

I used these to hang every picture in my daughter’s new apartment! We didn’t want to put holes in the wall. So easy to hang a picture. I just put a level on top of the picture frame to make sure it was straight and then stuck the picture to the wall!

As a general comment in favour of all Command Strips - they are just awesome for hanging pictures on walls. So easy to position and so strong. Would recommend wholeheartedly !

Hung a bunch of framed photos and pictures and had to move a few. Easy to apply and remove without leaving any marks on the walls

Excellent. Do what they are supposed to do. I bought no name brand before and they were terrible. They hold a good weight and are sturdy.
