The Walking Dead - Telltale Series: The New Frontier (PS4)

Played the other games in this series and was excited to play it but it is only part 1!You have to purchase the other parts/ chapters in addition to this price/ disc.

Only episode 1 is on the desk you have to download the last four episodes somehow. Can anyone tell me how you go about this

I bought this game with the understanding that I was getting all the episodes, because nowhere in the the information about the game did it say you would only get the first episode and that you would have to go online to download the other episodes at $4.00 each. Even when you get to the playstation network it is of course impossible to to download the data. Way too many hoops to jump through. The first episodes only takes about 30 minutes t play and is absolutely boring compared to the previous two seasons. I have bought the "Final Season", but have not played it yet. Not sure I will every play it, since I am sooo disappointed with this season. I would not recommend you wasting your money on this one! It is a rip-off!

I've not played this yet but I have played the first 2 seasons of The Walking Dead, they was great and I'm sure this will be of similar quality. The Walking Dead is a click and point adventure, about survival in a zombie infested area of America. You play as the Main characters, a young girl called Clementine and a man called Lee. . You meet many friends and foes along the way and the dirt really hits the fan, often. You have to make certain choices throughout the game and your choices sometimes change how the story unfolds. For instance, you may be playing as Lee, zombies attack and you have a choice to either save 1 of 2 people. Do you save Clemintine, the young girl that you care deeply for? Or do you save your friends child. Season 1 and 2 get really really emotional and I'm not afraid to admit that I cried twice in season 1&2. No videogame has made me feel such emotion. Well, maybe The Last Of Us at the start. I don't watch much tv as I find most shows uninteresting unless it's a wildlife, science, medical or tribal documentaries but The Waking Dead Game felt like I was watching a gripping tv series. Oh and it goes without saying that you should check out first 2 seasons of this game, to understand the story. The walking dead was the first of this kind of game, I've played. I remember seeing or hearing about these games and I never even gave them a look. As I was more interested in playing proper full blown traditional games like, fps , open world ect. I'm so glad I eventually gave this game a chance because I now really love these types of games. No boring filler to pad out the game like most AAA titles, just pure gripping, interesting, emotional story. So I urge every gamer to at least give these types of games a try. It's nowhere near the emotion of the walking dead but it's an incredible story. I had beyond two souls in my ps plus free games library, noticed it the other day and I'm so hooked and will deff be buying it on amazon in the near future because it is so bloody good and I need a physical copy.

This game has followed through with the same brilliance of the previous games. I was very disappointed with the ending as there definitely needs to be a sequel! If you enjoyed the previous games then you won’t be disappointed with this one! The reason I rated it 4 stars is because it only has one episode. There are 5 episodes in total and this disc gives you a Season Pass to download the other 4. I didn’t realise this until I completed episode 1, to then find out I had to wait for the next episode to download, and the same after episode 2, and so on. With the previous games I’ve bought, all the episodes have been included on the disc. That was a major thing for me personally but may not be for other people. I still think it’s a great game though so I’ve given it 4 stars anyway. Stay alive and don’t let the muertos munch on your intestines!

Having played the previous installments on DLC on Xbox 360, I decided to get a physical disc for this third season. The game installed on PS4 Pro without any issues and I played the opening chapter of the game. Then you have to download the second and subsequent chapters. While the second chapter appeared to download, when I went to start the game, I just got an endless loading page. The game was updated to the latest version available (1.04) but the downloaded content could still not be accessed. In the end, I gave up, deleted the game and my saves thinking that if I started again, it might work. Unfortunately not. Now I cannot even get back into the game. I get the splash screen and then an endless spinning "loading" wheel. Nothing. Tried getting some online support, but of course Telltale Games have gone bust and nothing has been forthcoming. So in summary, a complete waste of my money, which is a shame, as the first chapter that I did manage to play, played very well, with much better graphics than I remembered.

The product arrived in good time and I am very happy with the purchase.

My son and my husband play this and are very happy with this choice making game.
