We have a couple of leather chairs, the Lane version on Ekornes. I bought them in 2006 and they have done very well, until this past year. All the softness was gone and it was like sitting on wood. I was getting ready to send them off to Goodwill or give them away when I noticed that they had zippers underneath them. So, I took a look, flipping them upside down and unzipping the bottoms. The webbing was like overstretched noodles. It no longer had any support.I called a local furniture repair, but it was going to cost approx $150 a chair and take a month to get them. So, I started googling.Ultimately, my husband and I took the chairs apart from their bases, pulled out the seat and re-webbed them ourselves. I added a little more foam cushion, using an industrial stapler to attach the webbing to itself. Then we put them back together again. It took most of the roll for each chair, as we had to criss-cross the webbing. But for about $30 a chair, they feel like new.

It works great; we re-webbed the seating on our wicker deck furniture. It was so much cheaper than having it done by an upholstery shop.

Is used this webbing to repair so wicker chairs. I repaired the webbing and now they are as good as new.

Used on American Rocking Chair to replace perished seat webbing . Seems like a durable product . Happy .
