Nice for small gas grills

I found a professional LP Griller / Smoker on that U-tube-thing... He uses this with low heat and pans of moisturizing water to slow smoke meats.I figure it'll work and is adjustable to allow for smokiness.We just need to find an affordable long-lasting stainless steel grill. (I'm tired of yearly replacements costing hundreds of dollars!Oh, yeah: I have dropped this a half a dozen times and it still adjusts smoothly. I'd say that's STURDY!

I haven't seen a better, heavier duty smoker box, and I love that it fits on my Broil King grill perfectly. I've used it multiple times and it works great. To address some of the negative comments......Yes once closed it will expand a bit with the heat and will be harder to open, but it's not THAT hard. You can't just try to open it while it's on the grill. I've owned other smoker boxes in the past and they all have been hard to open once hot. I have a set of silicon BBQ gloves and I just pick it up off the grill and set it down on the ground. I have no problem opening it with two hands using the BBQ gloves, adding more chips, closing it back up and putting it back on the grill. It will discolor from the heat and smoke, but you don't have to bother cleaning it, just keep using it. It's good quality stainless so it won't rust. If you have a Broil King Grill and want to add some smoke flavor to your food, I don't think there's anything better out there. If you're smoking something large like a brisket, you'll have to fill it multiple times (I get about 30 min of smoke when it's full, vent fully open, over a burner set to medium-low), but then again once the surface cooks and starts getting bark more smoke isn't going to add flavor. I think I filled it about 7 or 8 times for my last brisket.

It works flawlessly, but I leave the vents open and have found that if grease drips on it's top and it cooks on then the vent slider nearly does not work. It needs to be cleaned well to get the slider to work properly again. I like how it fits on the Broil King grill, but if your using it for another grill it might not fit the same as intended. It is very heavy and well built.

It "wants" to flip over, and it doesn't hold a lot of chips.The flip up lid is very hard to open when the metal gets hot, so if by some miracle it doesn't flip over trying to open it, then the heavy lid will try to flip it over.It doesn't sit very securely on the v shaped flame guards either.It is impossible to adjust the size of the holes, after it gets hot. You need to have it adjusted before you use it.It is made with good thick steel, it's just that the lid design doesn't work for me, and capacity is limited.

This smoker works great with an adjustable slider to control smoke output. Sturdy and convenient to put under grates. Only drawback for me is that the lid sometimes gets stuck trying to open it.Overall it’s a great product.

I bought a Broil King grill this year and it does a better than expected job of grilling steaks and rotissering chicken and prime rib to juicy and flavorful perfection. With my purchase of the Broil King smoker box I have now turned my grill into one of the best smokers money can buy at a fraction of the cost. The box fits perfectly on the flavor wave cover over the burner allowing constant heat for the wood chips or pellets. I really like the way the lid was designed to where you can control the amount of smoke by opening or closing the openings. If you love slow cooked, smoked ribs like I do and you have a Broil King grill get this box.

Die Smokerbox von Broil King besticht durch hohe Qualität, gute Verarbeitung und eine gute Stärke des Materials. Das Zeikammersystem lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine weitere gelungene Komponente von Broil King.

Hab mehrere günstige Varianten probiert und immer wieder hat sich das Holz entzündet.Mit dem hier und den regelbaren Öffnungen klappt's endlich ohne Stress!Auch die Griffe, Größe mit zwei Fächern und abnehmbarer Deckel, sind nützliche Funktionen.Lediglich der Preis kommt mir etwas hoch vor...

Ich habe vorher einige Billigboxen ausprobiert - funktionieren auch, aber auf meinem Gasgrill "Concord" von El Fuego® passt diese Box optimal auf die Brennerabdeckung. Durch die variable Öffnung und die zwei Abteile für die Chips lässt sich das Smoken optimal dosieren - so wie ich das haben wollte!

The best thing about this unit is the ease of soaking chips before you use them: easy to load it up, add water and wait for an hour, then drain the water and use immediately. Very heavy duty.

Wir habe das für unseren Webergrill gekauft. Ist gut verarbeitet und verschweißt. Unten ist eine auswölbung so das es auf den unteren Teil befestigt werden kann. Noch haben wir es nicht ausprobiert aber seide Funktion wird er schon tätigen.
