Operating the Can Opener Step1 - Place the Can Opener on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove between the Cutter and the Drive Wheel Step2 - With the can on a flat surface, press the Button for about one second and release, then the Can Opener will start cutting the side of the can Step3 - When the cutting has completed, press the button immediately to reverse the cutter Step4 - Make sure that the cutter resets to the start position and the motor stops. Then, lift the can opener off the can Trouble Shooting 1. If batteries are depleted, the can may not be released by pressing the button. Slide back the Battery Door and replace 2 AA batteries. The Can Opener should continue the cutting. Remember to replace the battery. 2. Cans with heavy seams and uneven rims may stall the Can Opener. If this happens, follow above procedure to release the can. 3. If the can is get stucked, please press the white button on the top of the can opener. Note: 1) Use 2 new batteries ( High quality AA batteries), cheaper less quality new batteries are inadequate and may not preform as necessary. 2) After completely revolving around the can and cutting the edge, the can will still appear to be sealed. After prying up the lid will it be evident that the can and its resealable lid are detached. 3) Do not lift or forcefully remove the can opener from the can while it is operational. Forceful removal can cause damage to the knife-edge.

This product is a piece of poop
This is the worst product I’ve purchased off amazon. It barely works. I put brand new batteries in and set it on top of the can and push the button. Half the time the button doesn’t turn it on or if it turns on and starts cutting, it’ll stop or move at a snails pace to open the can. You have to manually help it along for it to work. When it finally finishes cutting the can (after you’ve helped it) it won’t let go of the lid and then after it does, it won’t stop. It won’t turn off. I have to take the battery out to get it to stop. This is a horrible product. I should’ve just went to the dollar store and bought a cheap manual one because this one takes way more effort than one of those.

Works well
I bought this because I want to clean off my kitchen counter and throw away the old bulky can opener I had. This stores easily in the drawer which is very convenient. It works really well for its size. It’s not difficult to use either. My kid had no problem using it. I’m happy with this purchase

Doesnt cut well
It took me 6 minutes to open one can today. Its not catching to cut the can so i have to go over and over and over it again to cut it, I wouldn't purchase again. The batter is drained after 4 uses. Great design and idea but just not useful.

This product doesn’t work!
This product is not very good at all. I bought it to replace one that my wife had had for years and had finally worn out! This one wouldn’t open cans; it would wibble wobble around the top, and cut here and there! So I decided to send it back for a replacement. That one too didn’t work either. I came on today to see about just plain returning it, and they say that I can’t; “the ‘window is closed’”!

Peel away some of the paper at the top of the can so it doesn't catch in the opener.
Has a problem opening large items

A good product
I like that it cuts the can cleanly without sharp edges. My only issue is that I wish it would cut quicker. I certainly can open the can faster with a manual opener. Other than that, it works well.

unreliable opener
This opener hesitates, cuts unevenly leaving gaps in cutting, and often stops halfway around the top, requiring restarting. I have often had to finish opening the can with a manual opener, and finally have abandoned this opener and gone back to the manual opener. We had a similar opener that worked well for years, and then died. This one was NOT a suitable replacement. Would not buy again.

Broke after 1st use
I followed the instruction but had a hard time connecting it to the can. Also it wouldn’t cut the can and became jammed. Once it came off it wouldn’t work any longer.
