I have used this brand for over 20 years to keep an extra key. Super strong magnetic that never falls off. A great way to keep an extra key.

Look I was skeptical because the item only has two magnets on it, but when I stuck it to my car, dang was that thing hard to get back off, those are some powerful magnets, I'm convinced it's not going to fall off as I'm driving. if I had a complaint about this item it's that I hate that the logo on the case is super shiny and reflective, I feel like this shouldn't be news to the team that created this item, but if I'm hiding an emergency key, ON the bottom of my car, I don't want the case to be super shiny so that car thieves can easily spot it. I just took some tape and put it over the cover to make it non reflective. Plus the key case is only holding an emergency key that isn't programmed to my car, so it wont start my car, only give me access to the interior

Pricy but works for large keys.

Just what I needed to hide spare car key. This is large enough to hold my non-fob ford key for my F150 truck. It is not large enough to hold My Honda fit key however that is a key FOB. Check other reviews for internal dimensions of the holder and then measure your key to see if it will fit. The magnet is strong enough to hold the hider in place without falling off. I placed mine on top of the frame rail at the back of my truck and it has stayed in place even after driving on some pretty rough city streets. You may be able to have a duplicate key made without the fob if they have the correct blank key, just tell them you only need it to open the doors

I bought this to keep a spare key for my car and apartment, and it is certainly just the right size for a car key and a small house key...and maybe one more small key if you're lucky. I felt the magnets were not quite as strong as I was hoping, and kept the box attached to my car chassis for a few weeks without anything in as I wanted to make sure it would stay on. I'm happy to say it stayed on, and I now have keys in it with no issues. Further update 5 months in. Still no issues with this and I’ve been over some pretty bouncy roads/beaches. This has stayed on throughout the time so I have no hesitation recommending it and bumping it up to 5 stars. All in all I'm happy...but I still have that feeling that it is not as strong as it could be and I have that constant worry that it will drop off...but maybe that's just me. Updated update: March 2020 and it's still going strong.....still stuck to the car like a super-glued limpet! Love this thing.

The key holder is OK, not great. Magnets not as strong as I would like. I suspect it would fall off if you drove on a bumpy road. The main thing is, modern vehicles have so much plastic underneath, including in the wheel wells, good luck finding enough steel to attach this to.

the product is very flimsy, you can't peel the advertising label on the top off which CLEARLY states that it is a key hider (so you better hide it well). the magnet is very strong which is the only reason it gets 1 star.
