Watts A4004033B RV Pro 10000 Replacement Water Softener Resin

My 7-year-old Watts water softener had gotten to where it would not produce soft water after a regeneration. I purchased this resin and replaced the old and now I have soft water again. A word of note, I have found that the area that I stay in winter has a lot of iron in the water and this will cause the resin to loose the ability to recharge. I always add a tablespoon of IronOut which removes the iron from the resin.

Purchased this product to replace the resin in our 7 year old Flowpur 10000 RV water softener. Since the replacement process we have struggled to have soft water for more than two days. While I know the water hardness in our location is around 35 gpg there is no way this new resin is working properly. I should have saved my money and not replaced the resin. I cannot recommend this product. Save your money and deal with regenerating the original resin more often or replace the water softener.

This information is imperative, not only for price but also for use. I had to place a second order to complete the task of servicing my softener vessel. This meant waiting for the second delivery. Not very helpful when you have your unit disassembled.

I have a Spotless water system that works fantastic. Accidentally bought this to refill. Right out of the gate, first wash, the meter read 279 ppm! Spots all over the place! Absolutely the worst!
