Concord 30 CM Stainless Steel 3 Tier Steamer Pot Steaming Cookware - Triply Bottom

I make my own corned beef and pastrami. Pastrami is steamed in order to cook it, and this steamer is absolutely perfect for that chore.The big problem with improvised steamers is that you have to babysit them to keep adding water. This commodious steamer holds enough water for more than 3 hours of steaming and could easily go for another one or two.I also like the heavy bottom plate for use on an induction stove. Fill it with a gallon or so of water, put the lid on, bring it to a boil, then but the steamer piece on top with the meat. I lower the temperature of the stove down to medium low and the water continues to go at a low boil, perfectly steaming whatever it is you're cooking.This steamer is not anywhere near the quality of a Cuisinart, Calaphon or All-Clad, but Im not sure it needs to be. The metal is very thin and a good whack would definitely dent it. Nonetheless, I found it easy to clean and would definitely buy it again!My only advice is that if you're looking for a small steamer basket, this pot isn't for you. It's large both in size and capacity and would be ideal for a larger family or steaming dumplings for a large gathering. For my use, I only use one steaming container (it comes with two tiers of steaming containers!), but it fits my needs perfectly.

Big and useful

The pot is sturdy and steams food evenly. Three tiers are convenient for cooking different items at once. Takes some time to heat up but keeps steam well. Handles stay cool, which is nice. Overall, a reliable steamer for daily use.

I love this thing. It’s so awesome! Never had one before so I don’t have much to compare it too but I really love that it’s easy to clean, easy to use, steams very well, overall I’ve had no issue with it.

This product came in a very timely manor. It was a little high but the bottom pan is heavy and it works with my glass top stove. I bought it to make dumplings and when I am cooking different steaming recipes. It is large around, it is heavy. But the best pans are heavy. I would recommend this product. An I hope I will get many use out of it for a long time. By the way the bottom pan is big enough to fry chicken, lots of fries or fish in. it is a good size pan and the other two that sets on top makes it a very tall pot. I would buy from this buyer again. just received it, sturdy tiers but not heavy, easy to carry with food inside. each tier is removable individual , which makes changing tier easy without having to turn off the flame. very shiny and looks great in my kitchen . different size holes on each tier for cooking different food.wish they carry more size , this one is on the large size . nitpicking , but wish the bottom pot had volume markers for when I use the bottom as a stand a lone pot. overall, very pleased with the steamer and will definitely recommend this item for my friends and family.

For twice the price very lousy cheaply made. triply bottom is either warped or bad stamp they put on bottom sticks out. Either way it doesn’t sit flat on induction top.
