Active Life Mat for Nintendo Wii Outdoor Challenge (Nintendo Wii 2010)

This works great with our Wii. We try to buy a Wii game for our children each Christmas and we chose the Outdoor Adventure game which requires this mat. The mat works great with our Wii console and our children have so much fun playing their game. I am so glad I was able to find this mat!

Works great

My 7 yo loves this! I found the Outdoor Challenge game at local pawn shop and bought it without realizing that needed the mat to use it. Mat came quickly and was easy to hookup (especially since I had read reviews and learned about where to plug it in) I have the old white Wii system and this mat will NOT work with the newer or black/red systems. There is hidden cover that I never knew it was there until I looked into this. Plugged it in to the space that has only one "dot" and my daughter started playing game. (there are 4 spots to plug in but this game only allows one mat to be played I guess.., unlike Dance Dance Revolution). She only weighs 40lbs so she did have to work a little harder for mat to register. Does slide around a little on carpet but it's so much fun to play that it doesn't bother us. I'm glad I bought this!

This is an awesome product that I enjoy using with my Walk It Out game.It does slide about and I have to re-position it during play time a bit but overall it is a great addition to my game system. It is easy to plug into the Wii and easy to fold up and put out of the way.I recently bought one for my mother and she likes it and is planning to buy stick on slide protectors for the bottom. You may want to try that too.

You should know this doesn't work on the RVL-101; the newer Wii that sits horizontally (i/o vertically) based on the "Wii" on front of device. It needs a game cube port and the new models don't include these ports for some sad reason.This game mat and the game I bought separately were a fabulous exercise option when my sister hurt her foot and couldn't run or dance on it. We sat on the mat and played creatively using shifts in our body.

Outdoor challenge is a great game, but the mat doesn't always work great. On one particular game, it won't recognize which button you're pushing, so you can never win that game. Most of the time it works great though and my three kids have had a blast with it.

The black plug doesn't work for Wii Console so how can I use it when I can't even plug it in to my console.

This mat works great and I needed it for the Outdoor Games.
