Replaced Tank
Worked like a charm. If you have an earlier model that does not have drain pipes on rear use heater hose to bridge the two pipes. There are two large retainer rings that hold the water heater door on. I sniped the old ones with wire cutters. The new ones were kind of a pain. I finally got a 3 inch hole saw and used it to hammer them on. You will see when you get it. Take pictures of your wiring before undoing it. You have to remove the 110v wires in the back and the 3 12v wires going to the DSI switch on the outdoor panel. You may not be able to remove the wire nuts on the 12v switch until you partially remove the panel. Water is nice and hot now!

Hotwater tank review
Difficult to install retainer rings, but once done the rest fell into place. Working well now.

Watch It.
NOT NEW as advertised. ..... It was a new part but not in an OEM Atwood box..... and it didn't arrive on time.

Replaced tank that was on a 1994 motorhome. About a half a day job using the existing electronics and burner. Only complaint was the retaining rings were really hard to get on straight with the limited tools I had on hand.
