5203-2NSL Nachi Double Row Angular Contact Bearing 17x40x17.5 Sealed

The OEM bearing is easily pressed/tapped out of the pulley with a large socket, press the new nachi back in, easily done with a vice or a 2" threaded bolt and nut and some washers. I did this at 150K and I didn't realize how noisy all the pulleys had gotten, I replaced the 3 idlers and this bearing in the tensioner during a waterpump job and afterwards it sounded like a new motor, I can hear the injectors ticking at idle again. For me between 100 and 150K they pulleys starting getting louder. I highly recommend this over the other single row options and it's hours less work then replacing the tensioner.

Used this bearing to replace the tensioner pulley bearing on my 2005 Tacoma 4.0 V6. The pulley is not available from Toyota unless you buy the entire tensioner for $150+. The tensioner is also a HUGE pain to replace (requires alternator being unbolted.Save money and just buy the bearing. WARNING: THE TENSIONER PULLEY BOLT IS REVERSE-THREADED! TURN CLOCKWISE TO LOOSEN!You’ll need either a bench vise or bearing press to really do the job right but I can see how you could also hammer the bearing in and out with a 5lb sledge, the right size sockets and some wood bracing against a concrete floor.

Replaced bearing in tensioner pulley in 07 Tacoma V6. Saved me $$ over replacing the entire tensioner assembly as no one sells a pulley/bearing assembly for the tensioner. OEM was NSK BD17-31DUM. Will report back if bearing does not hold up.

This is a great buy for a factory oem bearing. Amazon seems to be about the only place to get it. I highly recommend this bearing.
