The Wisdom of Trees Oracle: Oracle Cards for Wisdom and Guidance

"The Wisdom of Trees Oracle".. The name is self explanatory. I'm so blessed to have had found this deck. It has 40 beautifully illustrated cards by Meraylah Allwood on a sturdy semi gloss card stock. The cards are slightly bigger then normal playing cards. These cards will take you deep into the serene and magestic world of the trees and give you there ancient wisdom. The book is in full colour with 80 pages. It gives a brief overview of each tree's botanical properties, it's mythology and cultural associations. It also gives a key word for each card and a message from the deva or spirit of each tree. In addition to that it also provides an upright and reverse meaning. The cards are divided into four suits of 10 cards each, namely:1. The Roots2. The Trunk3. The Leaf4. The Flower, Fruit & SeedThe book also contains some simple spreads and a sample reading. And in the end there is a bibliography and suggestions for further reading.If you are drawn towards the Magic of Trees and there innate Wisdom, this Oracle is a must have.

This deck has artwork that takes you deep into the woods. I had beautiful celtic music on when I opened this set and to be honest i drowned in bliss looking at the giant trunks and the incredibly beautiful foliage. I just found a video on YouTube yesterday out of nowhere. A TED talk about how scientists have established beyond a doubt that trees in the forest communicate routinely with each other through their underground root systems. I am supposed to have this deck I know. And yes. Its throwback to the druid craft tarot artwork is unmistakable. And that one is a soul treasure of mine. Peace and bliss to you.

This is a lovely deck. The cards are glossy and a perfect size for ease of shuffling. The guide book that accompanies the 40-card deck is beautiful with pictures in colour. The index makes it super easy for quick reference with regards to the cards drawn in a reading. Personally, green is one of my favourite colours and seeing that this book is mostly all hues of green, I felt instantly drawn to it! The artwork is really stunning. The instructions provided in the guidebook are for upright as well as reversed positions. Personally, I feel that you can also draw your own conclusions based on the illustration of each card, in addition to the main message of the card provided in the guidebook. Use the message in the guidebook as your primary focus, of course, and as you intuitively decipher the illustrations, you get additional messages. I feel very connected to these cards. A must-have for every tarot card reader and enthusiast!!

Loving the exotic cards with such an insightful guidebook. Very deep meanings and I know it's just what I wanted to have!

Absolutely beautiful and delicate images of Meraylah Allwood. They have so much positive energy. Love her other artworks (for example, The Forest of Enchantment Tarot). The card stock is great, the box is sturdy and so beautiful. The guidebook is full of useful, interesting information and colorful images. Highly recommend.
