Seems well made holds to magnet test but not advertised correctly it is not a hose barb truhull just straight thread with lock nut

The thru hull is of very nice quality. It is completely threaded as in the picture, not barbed as the description says. It is not NPT. You can get a PVC 1.5 inch fitting about half an inch onto the threads. Will work for my purpose.

Exactly what I ordered should work for the way I want it to only problem is these things are way overpriced but what boating products aren’t

For about the same price I got the stainless steel which will never wear out

I was looking for a low profile through hull to be used as a deck drain. This piece did the trick! It is well made and has a great polished finish. One thing to note, the diagram shows the head as much higher profile than it is. The drain is not more than 1/8" off the deck.

Well made, it was a little long but I new that when I got it, cut it and now it's perfect. Just what i needed. Used it for the stern hual drain for my small sailboat, sealed it with marine silicone.
