Live In Concert

I first heard of Robert Randolph through picking up some live slots on You Tube, bought his first album a live set at The Wetlands in NYC. Then following some great studio albums, appearances on tour with Eric Clapton in the UK plus Crossroads Festivals, comes this simply brilliant new live release. Full of great tunes, awesome playing and one of the best covers you'll ever hear of a Prince song, 'Walk Don't Walk', his own four piece band, guests like Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks you know this is one set that absolutely cannot fail. this is a highly recommended album, get the party swinging, had a tough day put this on and dance your blues away.They don't come much better than this, blues,funk, sacred steel and just plain rhythms to lift the soul it's all here and one you'll play again and again !

I saw Robert Randolphs Family Band live at an Eric Clapton gig a couple of years ago and was blown away by his playing. So when I saw this album I had to buy it.I wasn't disappointed either as it captured the bands live performance perfectly.

Wonderful stuff. Great to hear the pedal steel guitar playing blues and funk rather than country and western. Saw Randolph on Jules Holland and bought this. Not disappointed.
