Lid fits 16-oz. Smucker's Natural PB perfectly. (Hint: Save the jar and refill with your favorite nut butter at your local food co-op.) Mixed the PB quickly (about 30 sec.) and thoroughly - no dry areas or clumps. Waaaay easier and more effective than the old knife-stirring method! My portable mixer doesn't have a super-low setting, so hang onto the jar TIGHTLY when you start your mixer. Clean-up was a breeze, of course. $6.99 seemed like a lot to pay for a simple plastic lid, but I'm glad I did, Will likely order several more for friends/family.

It doesn't fit the plastic peanut butter jars from Aldis or Walmart brand... Does not fit a 3" glass jar opening. I suppose there are some jars it may fit. Recommend you save the last peanut butter jar top and drill a hole in the middle of it. Does the same thing and is 100 times stronger. And you know it fits and it's cheaper.

This product was inexpensive enough to buy just to see if it works. It didn't for me. The lid is actually about 3 1/4" across. It was too small for the almond butter jar I have but too large for a canning jar. I held it over the jar and used my hand mixer to try to blend the oil in. It was difficult to hold the lid and the jar, which spun, but the mixer worked to some degree and it didn't spatter.

I USED IT ON CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER AND IT WORKED OKAY AFTER A FEW STARTS, BUT THERE WAS MORE WASTE AS WITH A KNIFE. I STILL HAD TO USE A KNIFE TO FINISH MIXING THE PEANUT BUTTER. I THINK IT WOULD WORK A LOT BETTER WITH THE SMOOTH PEANUT BUTTER.

This is great little invention. As advertised, it allows you to easily mix in the oil that sits at the top of unopened jars of natural peanut butter (In my case-a glass jar of peanut butter from Smucker's) with an electric hand mixer. No hassle, no mess, and the lid cleaned up very easily with a little soap and water. Just make sure you measure you peanut butter jar - this lid will only fit if your jar mouth is 3 inches wide.

It was an insult to receive such a piece of junk! With shipping, I paid somewhere around $14 for a plastic disc that comes on many of my food products. This was not at all as advertised.

I thought I was ordering both the lid and mixer and when only the lid arrived I returned it and getting another peanut butter mixer product.
