Would this also fit on a wooden thomas track?

Yes, I believe that the tracks are identical. We have Brio trains and we have Thomas trains and both trains run on the same tracks. By the way, when I first received it, I thought that it was broken because I couldn't make the bell ring by pushing the button with my finger. I found out that there are magnets on all the trains and when they pass by the bell, the pull of the magnet pulls the bell. Very cute!

Does the bell ding when the Thomas wooden railway trains go past the bell? They are wooden trains but have plastic wheels.

Yes, it dings but very lightly! Don't waste your money.

Does this fit on ikea train track?

I think so... as long as it is made of wood it most certainly fit... I don´t know if i have ikea (i think so) but I have several different brands of wooden track and there is no problem using them all and using the little bell...

Will this work with a Brio train set that is 35 years old?

Yes. I have brio that is mix of old and new.

Super addition

Super addition to my son's existing collection of Brio train system. Imagination and creativity at its best. It makes a small tinkling sound when the train moves along the lever. Good with battery operated train engines too.
