Easy to mount and they are louder than some speakers bigger than them. Was considering other small single cube designs but this is is much better and more than I need

It is similar footprint to the satellite Bose speaker and it is very sturdy make and it looks great.-Sound wise:, of course you need a subwoofer and it sounds great. A well balanced mid range with good tweeter, but I would say it misses some high end frequency ranges.I ordered them to replace a broken satellite Sony speaker from my 15+ yrs AV HT, and I found these ones have a better mid range clear response but the Sony have better high frequencies .-Power wise: ni problem at all. Response is clear with no distortionI wish as this system has 2 same speakers each cube, they should put a better tweeter in one of them, but overall, a good compromise and there are not many options for new satellite speakers anyway. I would but then again if any of my other Sony speakers break

Not sure what size brass inserts are in it for mounting. I thought, I read 1/4-20 same as most mounts. I had to use a tap to clean up threads and get 1/4-20 to work.

I was looking for a replacement that was small with loud, high quality sound and these are perfect. they sti on my desk and easy to connect and install. They are being used with a laptop for center (bi-wired pair) and front left and right speakers. The black color is a good match for modern laptops and they sell the mounting bracket which is a little more costly, but reasonably priced if you need to install on a wall for home theater applications, etc.

I ordered two of these sets and I was happy with them. I’ve had them up for 1 month and I have been happy with my purchase. I ordered the ceiling mounts with them. Everything went together easy and it was pretty easy to get them wired and mounted. Great quality for the price.

If you are looking for bose-like multidirectional speakers, these fit the form factor. It is more an asthetic, smallness appeal. Bose cubes have never had a stellar specs, and neither do these. Rated at 200 - 20K hz, these don't begin to perform in that range. 1500 hz - 15K hz is a more reasonable spec. Forget about using these without a sub of an appropriate frequency range. This I understood from the start, so no big gripes. The upside is the price.

Nice for rear surround sound speakers

Not worth the money. The cheap jbl speakers I got these to replace are back on I’d return them but it’s not covered by amazons usual return policy so I’m sure this reseller will refuse. PASS on these.
