Sounds alright but after a couple of uses, the display went upside down and back to front!! Battery only lasts about 4/5 hours. Never sent it back because I only listen to one channel so it's more hassle than it's worth going to town and postage etc. Otherwise it's alright but I wouldn't buy another. Further comment. Still using this most days after months. The screen 're-sets' the right way but reverts to back to front when turned off and on. However, it works well, is intuitive to use and easily gets stations abroad. My battery life is still shorter than advertised.

The question and answer section plus the reviews lead you to believe that this radio has an SD card slot so that the radio can be recorded. The one supplied (and to be fair as the main listing says) doesn't have a recording function.

This Radio was a huge disappointment, bought for my ill father in hospital - 5 people tried to set it and failed. Once set and turned off it jumps off the set station. All he wanted was Radio 4 for the dark hours. It caused upset and to remains 99% unused.

Great battery life and sound quality

The good points include its compact size, the best range of radio stations I've ever managed to get (having had several other portable pocket radios), the programme reception (depends on your own local area, of course) and looked better than comparable alternative products.On the negative side, the clock function is awful and either zeroes when you turn it on or sticks on the time you set it (whether using manual or auto-system) and some of the display lines only show half characters.It's a shame as there is much to commend this product, but I sent it back because I found its flaws annoying.
