These aren't the fancy hinged, plastic covers I was initially looking for, but they're cheaper and do the job. They're essentially just big hunks of rubber with a channel along the bottom. I've used them for running an extension cord from my home to the outdoor patio, and they're perfect at preventing trip hazards that could hurt people or damage anything that's plugged in. They're pretty heavy and do a good job holding down a tangley power cord. As others have mentioned, they have a strong rubber smell that will hopefully subside over time. Within an hour of delivery, they had my home smelling like a tire shop. It was kind of nice for the first few minutes, but it wasn't long before they made their way out to the garage.I'm really happy I bought these. They'll add a peace of mind for any future outdoor entertaining I plan to do.

Couldn’t be happier!! Perfect solution for my problem! Water line broke, plumber ran a temporary hose so we could still have water. But, we were unable to use the garage! These were absolutely perfect, and allowed us to once again get our cars in the garage! Wish I could give them more stars!!!

I bought these to place over my EV charging cord so my wife didn’t need to unplug it when she pulls into the garage. The ramps are thick, heavy, and durable so far. They keep the cable in place and safe, which is exactly what I needed them for. It’s worth pointing out these just lay on top of the cord, there’s no way to secure the cord to them unless you tape them in. The ramp has a simple groove in the center, no flaps or latches to keep the cable in place. While I don’t anticipate this being an issue, if you find the ramps shifting, the cord may slip out.The smell has been brought up, and it’s pungent and clings to you. While not an issue for being in a garage, using these in a office or the like would require some time to outgas and wash. The paint and die cut aren’t great, indicating a rushed production and low QC. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter since I have mine in a garage, so function is my main concern. For $10 a piece, this is a good value for a heavier cable protector for outdoor uses.

Protects my cord (no not my umbilical cord, my electrical cord) that runs across the garage. Surprisingly, these ramps don't shift a lot, and if they shift at all, I just kick them back into place. Plus, they are a cool black and yellow color so will look to see if they attract honeybees come the Spring...it would be okay as I have a hive nearby...but not in the garage. They were super easy to install over the electrical cord, and I only got shocked once but now I'm kidding, just trying to see if you are paying attention. These are good little ramps hoses, electrical cords, and perhaps wayward earthworms! Cheers!

This was exactly what I needed to run my Tesla charging cable to the other side of the garage! Bought a wall holster and it’s perfect! We can drive over the cable without damaging it or tripping on it anymore! Great price! They really stink by the way—they smell up the whole garage 😆

This is the real deal - perfect for protecting a couple of standard extension cables. However, although I am currently using for a 50 amp RV cable, the inset in the underside of the cable protector is not deep enough for the diameter of the cable, so the cable protrudes below the lower flat side, increasing the chances of abrasion to the cable with every movement over the protector. I suppose you could use another cable protector upside down underneath to fully protect the cable, but this would increase the trip hazard. Another option that I have not tried might be to use 3 protectors in a pyramid style, two on either side of the main one as addition supports, but I can't imagine that arrangement holding. It would be nice to have a slightly bigger version of this cable protector ramp able to fully enclose a 50 amp cable. But for standard 25-50 foot 12 gauge extension cables, two will easily fit. Not so sure about a 10 gauge.
