After I took Amoxicillin few months ago, I started itching and swelling below but that got better on its own. However, I suddenly started getting something I believe is hormonal yeast infection. It happens right before my period then it gets better after period ends. An annoying recurring cycle. I never had this before in my life! So odd. I didn't go to the doctor but it got to be yeast infection, right? I was about to purchase Monistat (Miconazole) until I read some horror stories and someone suggested Clotrimazole.This was simple to do. Just squeeze product into the reusable applicator and insert into vagina before bedtime for 7 days in a row. I chose 7 day treatment because I wasn't sure if my body could handle 3 day treatment especially for a first timer. It might be more potent, I assume? I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully, I experienced no negative side effects! I was so relieved since I fear it. No pain, no burning, no cramping. You will need to use a pantiliner because the cream will secrete throughout the day from gravity. It's a messy method but worth it to me. I think this is effective. Below seems less irritated and sensitive. Soap stung me and it doesn't do that anymore.
