Garden of Truth

I’ve had this little devotional for several years and I still use it during my morning devotional time. Love the pictures, scriptures and short food for thought! Great gift as well!

This devotional is filled with the most beautiful watercolor flowers and inspirational commentary. Each day has a Scripture to bring strength and comfort. I've given them for gifts and they were joyfully received!

I thoroughly enjoy Ruth Chou Simons’ artwork on her Instagram page, so whenever she makes devotionals, I feel like it is a no-brainer to buy, and I want to buy one for everyone that i know. They are beautiful gifts, and it is simple enough for the most reluctant reader and deep enough for the most thoughtful Christian (application of Scripture can be hard sometimes). With each flip of the page, you will see a beautiful painting with a key phrase, and the opposite page will have a short 2-3 sentence encouragement/discussion on how to apply the scripture printed at the bottom of the text. Flipping through the pages of this devotional is how I would imagine walking through the Garden of Eden–so much beauty and wisdom at each turn.

This is a beautiful book. The author blends her absolutely lovely artwork with biblical quotes that are encouraging and uplifting, and which remind us that God is near. The book makes a great gift. I bought several, so that I could present them to special people I know who have either encouraged me, or perhaps could use some encouragement themselves.
