Sound booster is a great feature for my 97 year old father who is severely deaf. With the sound booster button pressed he is able to hear my voice.

These phones are great!! They are easy to program and set up and my wife who is very hard of hearing can hear people clearly.I love the features also. Easy to learn. Won’t be without this phone system.

Phone worked great for exactly one year the loud speaker stopped working.

Clear sound and easy to pair to satellite receiver. I did not like the fact that you can only program one number into the memory function and no visual flashing light when you get a new voicemail. But overall a very nice phone.

My father is very hard of hearing and will not wear hearing aids. He was not able to hear any of his friends or relatives that call him regularly. This phone is the best! He was a little confused with the toggle talk button at first (looking for on/off buttons) but the sound quality is great and the blast button that increases the volume to "super loud" really works great for him, but is only needed when the caller is speaking softly, The phone also lights up when it rings so he's been able to see that someone is calling even if he can't hear the phone ring- he says he can hear the ringer but I think that might only be when the phone is next to him. All around great phone - wish I bought it sooner!

This phone is absolutely No better than my Walmart off the shelf cheep set.Volume is same at highest setting.Buttons are same size.Read other reviews that are honest and please find something better.Our Walmart phones are Panasonic, I’ll be looking into them after I get refund for these.

This wireless handset XLC7HS requires and works with the Clarity XLC7BT "base station", and acts as a 2nd handheld wireless handset for your Bluetooth connected Clarity wireless phones, that dials out thru your normal cellphone account, or landline telephone connection. It is as loud as the XLC7BT wireless handset, has Speaker Phone function that remembers the set volume the next time you use that handset, and has shares/synchronizes the same dialing directory stored in the wireless handset. Build quality is high. I have dropped the phone onto laminate flooring several times without breakage. Battery last a long time in standby mode, and I don't notice the battery icon getting any lower after a 1 hour conversation. I rate as 5 stars out of 5. There are lots of features for the elderly. That doesn't mean the elderly with Alzheimer's and hearing loss will know what to do with all of it though. These help better than a lot of others but they don't seem to last that long. Overall I would recommend them for those that need a land line for the elderly.
