FT20006N Stainless Steel Universal Flex Tube

I selected this size since i measured the mesh area on my car and it was 7 inches and i had to choose between 6 and 8. Upon arrival, i compared it to the one on my car, and found that the mesh area is only about 4 inches. The 6 inches includes the ring and weld areas for attachment to the inlet and outlet. If I had done the math (2inch inlet and outlet from the 10 inch overall=6 in left for flex area, weld and rings) I would have realized my error before ordering.since i only have a small amount of flex needed for my car, it was simple for me to just pick up a short adapter at the auto parts when i bought clamps and it works fine.

if not for high shipping fees it would of been a good price, received item as described, it works. make sure you choose the right dia. pipe so you wont need adapters and have to cut the flex tube..

I bought this as a replacement for my 2000 Toyota Camry LE. For the past few months, the original flex pipe was fraying on the front bottom.We used a saws-all and angle grinder to get the old flex pipe out. We welded the back end and clamped the front. Our original plan was to clamp both sides, but the Camry exhaust pipe is like 1/4" thick steel, so there was no way to get this thing around or inside the exhaust pipe. The 2000 Camry LE has 2" exhaust pipe on either side of the flex, so an alternative plan would be to purchase 2 1/4" flex and clamp it on either side on the outside of the exhaust pipe. If you want to avoid welding, this could be a good option.Anyhow, my car sounds and smells much better now. So far, so good!

The overall length is indeed 10", but the flex part is only 4", not 6" as stated in description. Returned to Amazon.

I got this to replace the one on my car, to buy the whole pipe was around $400 this was less then $30 and then just take the old one out and weld this one in!! it is 2" ID. i would buy again!!!!

thought I had a bad muffler, dang hole in tail pipe and this fixed it.

Worked perfectly. This fits a 2'' Toyota pipe. It was harder to figure out which one to get than to slip it on.
