Holds the pant properly in place. About the product, it is as is in the pictures and descriptions. Elastic quality is good and the plastic strap to hold pant is good, does not damage the pant cloth unlike the metal ones. Width of strap is good 1.6inch like the logo Only bad part is price, dunno why such high price. That is the reason for 4 stars Although I will recommend to bring back suspenders like the RRR
